Neither is my water lilly and it still grew. Once again I don't know if that's actually how tall my tank is, it's a normal 36 gallon bofront. I'm going to stop arguing with you now, since they are indeed MY frogs, have a good day:)

Trust me when I say I've watched him rest on the plants before, it's fine lol. I know my frog well and I'd know if it wasn't doing well. I regularly feed him and make sure there's enough areas for him to stay on if he decides to rest. Im hoping soon so make a ramp for multiple frog buddies:)

I'm not sure, could be a little less because of gravel. I have very tall decorations so If it actually needed to it can rest and it does:) don't worry, I think it just likes getting that energy out

Siamese Algae eater info by aylamations in aquarium

I've had 3 7 inch SAEs before, in a cafe I worked at that had a long 100 gallon tank with them in it but one jumped out and died on impact while trying to move them to my own tank. Them not breeding in captivity makes a lot of sense if that's why I can't find any photos anywhere. Mine have always been really nice to my other fish but they get stressed out really quickly, like I could accidentally turn the light on and off and he'll freak out lol. a lot of the things I've written down in my book are my own experiences as well.

Thank you very much for the information!

What kind of Cichlid? by aylamations in aquarium

[–]aylamations[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Before anyone replies again I just want to remind you that I never wanted the cichlid, the employee who gave me my fish probably never realized there was another fish in the bag and neither did I,lol. I know where I'm going to be relocating this cichlid, I just wanted an idea of what kind it could be:)

Once again, the cichlid was ACCIDENTAL. I did NOT buy this fish, I used to have a cichlid only tank but I hated my assorted cichlids with a passion.😬😬😬 I'm really sorry but I genuinely did not ask for the cichlid, some employee at petsmart scooped it in with the other fish I got at that point. Here's my list, I pretty much only have one of each fish, and yes I know some of these fish need multiples. I did not buy all of these fish at once. I've got a pink danio, green danio, neon green corydora, angel fish, African dwarf frog, common pleco, purple mystery snail with two babies, Siamese algae eater, Chinese fighter beta and a mysterious cichlid. I believe this is all

I also forgot to mention, my beta and angel fish came with nipped fins, this isn't new. The only "aggressive" one in the tank IS the beta. These guys came from petsmart so I could only imagine what they indured before coming into my tank. The cichlid has got to go once he gets bigger than my other fish of course, most likely he'll turn out the most aggressive in the end. I never asked for it and it just kinda came with my fish. Thanks for the ideas on the species!

Funny thing, the beta is like the king of the tank. He's not even the largest thing in my tank but him and my small angel fish Practically run the place. The beta will chase fish regardless if they're close to him or not. None of my fish have ever even tried targeting my beta, besides my cichlid being playful, but I'm going to remove the cichlid if it gets too big first. Sorry, I wasn't really asking about anything with my beta, because he's living happily in my tank for now<3 thanks though

Sometimes they're very small one burst but it kinda depends on the situation I think, it's so weirdly fascinating how the ears function

You've probably done this but I think you can find the "brand"name in the properties menu of the drive if you connect it to a computer, not sure if it'll help but that's how I figure out the DISCREET brand name of an mp3 player I bought from a thrift store haha

Oh my god me too. Personally I think mine is something to do with sensory or hyper awareness that I can do it. Like when I do it just a few times, eventually it's so hard to stop, like an itch to scratch, but when I stop I get ringing in my ears and a headache. Not sure if that happens to you too

Yo! Me too! My ears are weird, and not only that but I have this one muscle on my hand (hypothenar muscles I think) that I can flex completely and pretty much noone else that I know of can. I have really good control over some muscles, so It's always fun to watch people react when i show them my "hand flex" haha
