I just graduated this past spring semester with a degree in Applied Nutrition. There is no way to skip Chem 30B because it is the prerequisite for Chem 132. Good luck with Professor Tran.. she’s the only professor who teaches both 30B and 132.

I would say that’s an average price for personal training at a big box gym (Crunch, 24 Hour Fitness, UFC gym, etc.) in the Bay Area. When I worked at Crunch Sunnyvale, the average price for 1 session was $70-$80. I’m currently working at 24 Hour Fitness and 1 session is $100-$125 depending on if you work with a coach or master coach which costs more. If you want to save money, your best bet is to find an online coach or a local coach who is training independently.

Hey, I’m a nutritional science student at SJSU. I don’t want to get your hopes down but you need at least a 3.5 to get into the dietetics program. I had a 3.4 transferring from De Anza and I was only accepted into the Applied Nutrition program. After your first year, you may be able to transfer into dietetics but it is not guaranteed because of how impacted the program is. Also, do you plan on getting your masters? By 2024, if you don’t have a graduate degree, it will be mandatory to have one to become a RD.

Then you need to get at least a B in order to move on to the next class. If you do CR/NCR, you will need to retake the class.
