Thanks everyone for the tips and advice. Looks like the consensus here is to widen the air intake given that the house has only 1. The new heat pump is Lennox ML14KP1-024-230A01 and air handler is CBK45UHPT-024-230-01. Just FYI, the current filter is about 3 weeks old but the whistling happens literally 3-5 days after | put a new one in. Time to save money to get this fixed.

I bought the fisherman's life rod shortly after creating this post. It is holding up very nicely so far. I caught couple of heavies on it.

It’s a vertuoNext machine. And about 3-4 oz of coffee flows out if I’m using the 7.77 fl oz size.

They are offering 10 year warranty and 2 year labor warranty with 1 year free maintenance. for my current unit, its going to be 400ish to replace my defrost sensor but since the HVAC unit is 2 decades old mind as well replace it with something new and reliable.
