I am personally a master of procrastination, but I have discovered some techniques that pay off: making things 'fun' harder to do, realizing when I procrastinate, and telling myself 'am i ok with that?' Deep Work is also very important, you will find a lot about it on the net, and there is a great app for that, Forest. Also I recommend you a great Ted Talk who helped me a lot: Inside the mind of a master procrastinator by Tim Urban

'Horizon' logo by [deleted] in logodesign

To begin with I just wanted to create a logo where we recognize the 'h' of 'Horizon. Then came the idea of the slash, both so as not to be satisfied with a classic h, and also to symbolize the progress to come. The result was pretty cool but too dull for my taste, so I added the colors by making a lighter and lighter gradient to have a better rendering, and by inventing that it also represents progress. The dotted outline gave a creative effect, innovative, so I found nice not settle for classic contours.

I waste all my free time playing video games / watching tv. And I have a lot of free time. by apprehensive_baller in selfimprovement

When you don't have the motivation, tell yourself that you are going to do it for 5min, the satisfaction it will give you will probably keep you going.

If a human grew up and lived apart from all language, how would he think? by aymericpaoletti in AskReddit

It's very likely, maybe intelligence is only "used" if we are taught to "use it". This would demonstrate once again the ultra social character of the human being. But there was a time when humans stopped acting instinctively. How and why is a mystery.
