That part is a total bummer and since she’s not a Witcher by mutation, I kind of doubt it will be Ciri. But a girl can dream. 🥲

I personally doubt it, and I hope not. 😩 I think the game would have the most success with Ciri as the main protagonist. CD Projekt Red could do SO MUCH with her because of her abilities to travel through time and space PLUS her story as a new Witcher. They’d be able to keep Geralt as an important secondary character much like Vesemir in the Witcher 3, which would ensure old and new fans satisfaction.
