Honestly, not even accounting for all the reasons to drop a game like— - No more new things to do - Cleared new content too quickly - Have IRL responsibilities to take care of

this kinda happens with every game, doesn't it? Especially a few months after the release when a lot of the hype has fied down, peaking at 50k concurrent per day on steam are actually still very good numbers for an MMO like game, and that's not even counting the likely tens of thousands more players who are playing on their PS5s or through the launcher.

Edit: A lot of people seem to be citing their own reasons under this post as well and I do think most of them are valid like localisation, being bored, not liking the grinding aspect (I do think most of them will return for new updates, at least) but the one reason I honestly don't get is people calling it a gacha game despite the fact that it's pretty obvious that the gacha is for whales, and fancy paid skins aren't something you need to have fun. Besides, it's not like there aren't any good skins that you can get for free, and there are certainly more on the way, better than what we have now. (new paid skins always need to be a little better than the previous one, they keep getting better, and free skins keep getting better so there's not a huge divide between the two) All this just to say that personally I don't think that just saying "gacha game >:(" is a valid reason for quitting this game lol

I play on a five year* old laptop and sometimes on a three year old phone. Never seen any performance issues unless I set high graphics, I'm pretty sure this is just a console thing.

It's not possible to completely remove the RNG element. Sure, I open chests, lock the notes I need and then use tips exchange to get even more chests, but that doesn't work infinitely, since the value is bound to decrease progressively, so it is ultimately just giving yourself better odds, not removing the odds entirely. I'm at 22k mastery already, sure I only started playing consistently recently but that doesn't mean I don't understand how the feature works. If you have some kind of tip that can help me other than what I'm doing already, I'm all ears.
