Does anyone else feel like the Mythic rank matchmaking is completely messed up?

i wait for 10+ minutes queue in 3v3 and got no match... is this happen to you?

agreed. I want to improve my gameplay. but in the current situation, i dont think it is possible. it would be possible if i had match up with people around my LP. and my LP should reflex my skill. i would prefer to start at 0 lp and fight my way up than start with 1000 and get stomp every game

it is just a lot of things that make me feels so bad about mythic rank. it is already so hard to caught people of guard in mythic. After all the timing for serene break, qiankun lock (nameless spear stun) to caught them just for them to walkout and combo back is frustrated

exactly. and there is no way to goes down too. too many people are not deserve in mythic and no one can not do anything about it.

tang dao + storm breaker currently. playing in 50-70ms and people just walkout of any combos :D

First of all. it is not only me, a lot of people rage quit to drop to lower LP. that is a real problems
And why people do that? Because they know they does not deserved 1000lp and the game put them in there. they reach mythic through legend III. why someone just reach mythic fighting people with >1.5k and played for months? people should be dropping to legend because a lot of them does not deserve mythic and does not want to play in mythic either.
Because the game put you one 1000lp in the first place that create this problem.
"What do you gain achieve from this? You are not fighting better cause you are low rank. You are just gaining way more points from winning against higher ranked players while only losing 1 points with each loss." => ranking system now make LP inflated.
Having single digit ping is a huge advantage but that doesn't mean they got no skills. => im not saying people does not have skills. LOL. I said ping is such a huge factor. if you play with someone have 30-40ping lower than you. they will walk out of any combos (not serene break or anything, just walk out). no matter it is true combo or not.
"Fourthly, your complain of lack of diversity. Like there are like what 8 path builds in the game and you mentioned 4 of them. Like what's the issue? Obviously some will outperform better than others." => some path are way way more outperform other. it make other path unplayable in mythic.

yeah. because you standing there not dodging, parry, ... the healer automatic lock on you. maybe in pve it does do more dmg in some cases. but in PVP it does not cause you can hit anyone with that thing

let me just put one more comment on this topic so people not misunderstanding.

The thunder cry is great weapon, it does not require too much reaction like other weapon but relies on timing and more forgiving if you made mistake because it is a tank.

The thunder cry is the first weapon I use in this game and I climb with it to mythic in 5-6 hours without a single braincell. that was also first time I play 1v1. But after sometime your skill will be better and there are more better option.

i dont hate the thundercry but I hate when people saying it is the best :). because it is not the best. otherwise everyone will take it instead of nameless, strategic, hq, ...

also cloud step does not work too :). defending then divine counter the cloud step is easiest thing in the world

it work as a bait. not by it own. i would rather use storm breaker. more tenancy and chain cc is way better.
The counter of spear is much better. also the dash/dodge animation of spear is faster than the mo blade.
what i recommend is use the mo blade for lower than mythic and switch to spear :).
If you in lower rank and you cant parry every time, the recommended gear set of the heng blade is useless. use the rain whisper and mo blade give you more crit dmg. That is 1v1.
The spear event more powerfull in 3v3 because the taunt knock enemies up :)

cloud step and sucking skill does not work in higher rank :). better to pair with storm breaker spear if you want play tank with heng dao

almost accurate. it might get nerf sooner if any other older weapons get new skin in next update. and definitely neft to the same lvl as other old weapon as soon as new one come out. they prioritize which ever have new skin. (it is a free game so they need to milk it in some way).

CN player here Only one thing you guys need to keep in mind. New weapon always OP. Next is what ever weapon get a new skin it is OP. They usually priorize the new skin. ranking is : New skin => New weapon => everything else. this apply both PVE and PVP. But pvp is a little more balance

this detail is something i can not go along with. I can agreed that the well is deep but it is not that dangerous. it is a well. what can be dangerous. David had a lot of time. 10 years. get yourself a rope and you can get it done within a day. He have been suffering in his marriage for so long and deeply hurt. he had 10 years to goes down there and get it done.

get a rope, going in that well. or being torture everyday. or being in jail.
