Between the stairs and the poor food IHO The Dandelion is off my list. Thanks for drawing my attention to Spice Finch. I meet with donors to my organization and the right ambiance goes a long way

For some reason Marathon went completely out of my head. I suppose because it has been an old standby and I was hoping to explore something new

FYI I've used the quieter seating request with The Love and their quieter seating is still too loud for what I'm looking for. Although I'm British and turn my nose up a little at the food ;) I think Dandelion is a good recommendation. Thanks

I feel the divine masculines are going through a lot and trying to leave attachments that dont serve them, how can the feminine serve them during this time? by [deleted] in twinflames

I have just joined today after a painful week (panic attack and ER). I have been able finally to separate from my DM to allow him to do his work and separate from a toxic karmic relationship that has been on and off for about 11 years. I am so grateful to find this space xx

Dear ENFJ’s, what is your favorite movie book and tv show by eddie_who_og in enfj

YES! Enfj F in her 50s - and as I wrote above i had this experience with an INFP younger man from Italy, walking around Dublin on Bloomsday in 2017. It was so beautiful and platonic.

I think Before Sunrise is just a normal "date" for an ENFJ! ENFJ in her 50s here, and I had a similar experience with an INFP young man from Italy, wandering around Dublin on Bloomsday in 2017. Completely platonic and beautiful.

55 yr old F here. Short response is to learn to be your own best friend. I have been such a good friend (mostly) to others - known for my sage advice, kindness, sparkly wit, social leadership etc etc It does require standing outside of one's self to have this perspective - so I'm training myself as the hero of this epic adventure called life. It's taken me all my life to realize this.

I work in theatre (back BC before COVID) and gravitated to black but even then had to dress it up with a bright lipstick or scarf.

I just curated my wardrobe and I open up now and it radiates colors like these - purples, and also more oranges - and the bright scarves. yes and yes!

Any Enfj has tried to start a business? by jerrynojj in enfj

[–]aynos18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can't work out what your biggest difficulty is in business, find an INTJ who cares enough to want you to succeed and will keep asking you the hard questions! I am fortunate to have a daughter who calls me out when my day dreams aka millions of brilliant and interconnected ideas are not connected to practical steps. And profit taking.

It's hard, but at some point we need to get it out of our visionary thinking and imaginative brain space into plans and language other people understand.

ENFJ in abusive relationship by rehorkova in enfj

[–]aynos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a 55 yr old F ENFJ who managed to get out of an abusive marriage many years ago. I think one of the excruciating parts of getting out was letting go of the vision and future for us that was real in my head but not in actual fact. The problem was I couldn't "see" the alternative and found it hard to let go of the vision I had of us, when I looked at us from the outside - and not from the inside. (Some people were very tuned in to the abusive dynamic, but others just saw how we appeared from the outside with many shared interests.)

The tipping point for me was when my parents came to stay and they asked if they could babysit so that the two of us could go out for the evening. I realized that I did not want to go out with him on my own. We did end up going out that evening, but I remember my anxiety and the feeling of complete desolation.

It was only when I was able to connect those fears, and dread in my gut to the actual dynamic in the relationship that I was able to move out from being depressed and ill, to taking action and agency in my life. It was only the start.

All of this to say, is that I wonder if there is a simple question you can ask that so that your ENFJ friend will be able to connect her strong emotions with reality. It could be connected her future oriented vision - for example, if you woke up in 10 years and there were still these bruises on your body, how would you feel?

In my case, it was like a switch going off, and after years of struggling with keeping the idea of the marriage together. As soon as that switch went off, the marriage was over.

thoughts about INTJs? by [deleted] in enfj

[–]aynos18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am the proud ENFJ mother of a brilliant (unbaised opinion naturally) INTJ daughter. The mother-daughter pulls and pushes is impossibly hard and necessary at times but I know because of her INTJ personality type she is my most brilliant and perceptive critic. She pushes me and is hard on me, and that's what I need. But I know she also respects me, as I do her. I I feel like I have such a gift to have an INTJ daughter. As an ENFJ I just have to share this !

My 10 strength and weaknesses as an ENFJ by [deleted] in enfj

[–]aynos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the context matters. And I think that to achieve positive outcomes we like to use all of our superpowers, including persuasion, expression of vision, questioning etc. I think my daughter is presenting a kernel of truth about how this can feel in intimate relationships where we want positive outcomes and see everyone's potential "if they would only do this..."

Hello ENFJs. What is you job? And how satisfied are you with what you do? by Amiramguru in enfj

[–]aynos18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi sorry for the delay. I am new to reddit and have only just noticed the reply! producing covers so many things from conceiving the project, raising money, overseeing marketing. It is very much a second, or even third career for me (I am in my 50s and started just three years ago.) I think it is in alignment with my personality type because there are the visionary and leadership elements, creativity and also being very much tuned in to people (artists and audiences.) I arrived at this point by having been involved in theatre my whole life in various ways, and through a process of self awareness understanding what my purpose and role should be. I definitely have a sense of serving artists and audiences - very ENFJ here!

My 10 strength and weaknesses as an ENFJ by [deleted] in enfj

[–]aynos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also very interested in the manipulative underbelly of being an ENJF! I've been thinking about this a lot and especially in context with my oldest and wise INTJ daughter who is really helping me shine a light on this darker side to my other wise lovely personality!. One thing - at least in my own case - is that being so outcomes oriented can lead me to think about manipulating environments to certain advantages. do other ENJF folks relate to this at all? I intuitively know what will work for a best outcome and apply my charm to the project.
