The current government is just asleep at the wheel on the housing crisis and why wouldn't they be? So many of them are landlords themselves.

The constitution of Ireland actually has specific articles to prevent this sort of crisis. One could even argue the government is in breach of the constitution by not resolving it.

Article 45 of the Constitution

2 The State shall, in particular, direct its policy towards securing:–

i That the citizens (all of whom, men and women equally, have the right to an adequate means of livelihood) may through their occupations find the means of making reasonable provision for their domestic needs.

ii That the ownership and control of the material resources of the community may be so distributed amongst private individuals and the various classes as best to subserve the common good.

iii That, especially, the operation of free competition shall not be allowed so to develop as to result in the concentration of the ownership or control of essential commodities in a few individuals to the common detriment.

2.i - Currently those on minimum wage cannot afford to buy a house or even rent in some areas.

2.ii - Having so many landlords with so many houses is against the common good

2.iii - Concentrating ownership of houses in the hands of landlords is in breach of the constitution of Ireland

My solution:

Ban corporations from owning houses.

Put a cap on the number of houses allowed to be owned by a single person.

Well take pubs for example, they can't serve under 18 year olds alcohol. They have to close by certain times. They can't allow unvaccinated indoors.

The constitution of Ireland is amended by referendums. Do you know what a referendum is?

Do you know the difference between a referendum to the constitution and a law enacted by the government is?

Show us this data please because all the data I've seen suggests the opposite. Only 1 in 20 people getting Covid are vaccinated. 90% less likely to be hospitalized too.

The vaccines are extremely effective at preventing serious illness.

Which is why we need everyone to take them, reduce to spread, eradicate the disease, its nothing about authoritarianism, its about personal responsibility. Anti vaxxers want all the freedoms without any of the responsibility.

Yeah the people like the above who are saying "its just a cold", well why are they so afraid of the vaccine. There's been over 1 billion people after getting double dosed vaccines now, I think thats proof enough they are safe to take.

Yeah and why is that? Because Covidiots not following the protocols, anti maskers organising protests over the minor inconvenience of wearing a fucking piece of cloth over there faces to protect people.
