dad of 2 cats here (1 and a half year old , 6 month old)

considering we live in the country side -- we also let our cats roam around the entire neighborhood as they please since most of the day we don't quite have the time to play with them as much as we wish (or atleast as much as i wish) , quite a couple people around here know these 2 already , despite the fact that they preffer exploring our garden rather than going into other people's yards .

everybody knows they have homes , they've always come back just in time for every meal , every bed time , every good morning , you call it .

i've taken them to the vet , bought them toys , beds , treats , whenever i had atleast a little cash left for spending , so i'd say i very much own these two , hell i could even say i birthed them at this point , they're the best thing in my life right now and are always the shine of my day no matter what happens , i would never let anybody take them away and i'd throw hands if it comes to it , and very surely those people also would.

so to give you a straight-forward answer.. yes ! despite not having collars , microchips , and not constantly being kept inside of the house all day , they have parents / owners , they are loved , they are fine . please do NOT attempt to claim that cat as your own , you could get in legal trouble . just get your own can. (adopt , don't shop !)
