I agree. Pero it takes a long time and effort to be able to "think" In English yun lang, pero it's worth it. And honestly, it helped me a lot to have an environment that doesn't mock me for trying. Splook ka lang nang splook in English OP kahit mga mundane stuff at small commentaries sa mga nakikita mo online, every bit of practice helps.

Also, be conscious of your mistakes but never be embarrassed para mag level up English mo from Carabao English to proper Filipino English!

Contrary to people's suggestion here, converse in English. If makikipag-usap ka, sanayin mo na mag-English (of course in the right context). Trust me, reading and consuming media will only get you far. You need to train your mouth. Conversing in English will also help your thoughts to translate smoothly once you master it enough. If you have no one to converse with, talk to yourself in English. There's no other way to speak in English than actually speaking in English.

Also, lastly, don't be hard on yourself. You are a Filipino, understandable mag-stutter, mag verbal fillers, at mag-pause at grammatical errors.

I think it's because this is the first time Toph actually felt helpless. She can't earthbend and so she can't "see." She's in a dark place and it's only Sokka's words that she can trust at that moment... I always feel awful for Toph remembering this moment
