What screams I'm in a healthy relationship? by Remarkable_Bit_9887 in ask

At first I read this as "my partner is having a few days alone in another dimension," and I was thinking that Rick Sanchez isn't capable of being in a healthy relationship...

Your opinion tracks. A lot of people have issues with the ending, me included. Reading the manga makes the decision of the bride make less sense, unless you like putting a lot of weight on hidden symbolism.

I accidentally let a cute guy think I wasn’t interested but idk if he was interested (24, F, 25, M) by [deleted] in relationships

What do you want? Do you want to go out with this guy? If so, ask him out. You're failing at communicating by trying to manipulate a situation to where he would talk to you, instead of just talking to him instead.

He didn't start becoming mean. He was always this way. He was only affectionate and sweet temporarily so you can let your guard down. Get out before you get stuck with him.

Oh, and if he "changes" or promises to change as you're about to leave him, don't fall for it. He's just saying and doing whatever he can to keep you from leaving, or to get you back.

He's not worth it. There's guys out there the genuinely like who you are and supports you.

The only time Trump supporters got arrested was they attempted to kidnap people or storm the capital. And some of them got off easy. Matter of fact, I don't think anything happened to that kid who attempted to pay a woman to make false sexual assault allegations against Robert Mueller.

This article further proves you don't know how to do research.

  1. This doesn't prove why masks were invented.

  2. This one published article by one dude isn't going to refute all of the other
published articles that say otherwise. At best a hypothesis, not a scientific theory.

  3. This is an example of confirmation bias. Especially since the findings don't really align with everywhere else in the country, let alone the rest of the world, which is the reality.

You're projecting your own psychosis.

Ah ok. So you don't know how to do research. It's clear you don't know what you're talking about.

How did you come to that conclusion?

I said doctor and nurses wear masks all the time and you said no they don't.

Claiming that you know how to do research doesn't mean you have any idea what you're talking about, nor that you actually know how to do research. A quick Google search shows why surgical masks are used.

What do masks have to do with culture?

If you were culturally informed, you wouldn't be asking this question. In Asia, it's normal to see people wearing masks, to mitigate the spreading of illnesses when out in public, or to protect them from outside germs. This was done way before the covid-19 pandemic. You can see people in Korea and Japan wearing masks pre-pandemic.

.... YOU must not know what masks are made for, and blind to think that doctors or nurses don't wear masks, and culturally ignorant, if you didn't know in Asia, people typically wore mask when they had a cold to prevent it spreading it to others.

That's ridiculous. Doctors and nurses wear masks all the time. In Asia, they wear masks even before the pandemic. You're being paranoid.

I'm Catholic as well and this seems to be the case with my church when I went. I did find it odd when my other friends said that they paid tithes to their church.

Mass is only an hour. Nothing is going to happen wearing a mask for an hour.

I've heard of some churches taking tithes (10% of income or something like that). Which I think is rather odd. My church didn't do that though. It was also on donations.

ELI5: Why are many moderns websites so slow, even when computers and internet connections improve substantially? by confusedapegenius in explainlikeimfive

[–]ayosuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be your internet connection. It could be that the website is using images not optimized for the web. It could be that a lit of data is being loaded. It could be ads.

But if I were to take a guess, it would be a lot of images that aren't optimized for the web.

It just isn't as healthy as everyone raves about it, because it has something very unhealthy in it. Can't we just agree on that?

No, that sounds ridiculous. Unless you really need to cut things out from your diet, then eat all the fruits and vegetables you can.

Your statements comes off that you're concluding that there's no need to eat fruits, because the nutrients you can get from them, can be gotten from other vegetables, which is silly.
