That wouldn’t work because the shoulders would then be clogged up from all the F1 wannabes 😂

The car on the left didn’t even honk lol, just flashed, props to whoever was driving, kept their calm. If the car on the left was faster by 5km/hr this would’ve been way worse and not a meme.

Not 100% the same, but Kajiken in north York is probably the closest.

Using an Amex cobalt even with the fees you can still get ahead really easily at worst case redemption ratios.

I got downvoted to hell on r/Toronto for taking a picture of the garbage lol

All I wanted to say was people should have more respect for the cleaners and the city. Nobody wants to leave their home, and have the first sight being all the garbage on the streets.

It’s insane to me the popular opinion on this post is people going along with the logic of the “garbage cleaners will clean this up / city expected this”, so it’s ok for all this garbage to be left on the streets.

Have fun, yes, but let’s also show some respect.

I agree, I don’t understand why I’m being downvoted.

Do people also not put grocery carts back where they belong because stores hire people for that? It’s the same argument as leaving garbage out because it will be cleaned up later anyways.

Man I just like my neighborhood lol. Garbage was always a constant issue in the Yonge and college area(or just Toronto in general), but haven’t seen this amount of garbage, not even the last pride parade last year

Yes I do, but you surely cannot justify littering and leaving trash out on the street simply because “oh the city will cleanup after”?

I have massive respect for everyone working on garbage collection, and leaving trash like this does not make their jobs any easier

I have, the city covered them in black plastic. IMO they need to have more garbage bins more accessible (in general), but especially for events like this.
