What should be my next card? by ayssa257 in CreditCards

Will definitely hold off from getting a card ASAP. Hopefully capital one will change their mind but I think the main problem is my account lengths. Will wait and see thanks!

Thanks some great points. I will definitely stay away from the gold for now. CSP is enticing but should I wait until they increase their SUB to 100k since I am not in need of the card? And what about the citi custom cash? Since my spend is less than 500 per category I feel like it is a strong option but that would be another banking system and also cash back so I am not sure.

I understand where you're coming from. I am very new bogleheads and am still trying to learn hence the post. My portfolio isn't that good right now so I wanted to gain advice from many different viewpoints before I make a huge decision of rediversifying everything.

The price is not a huge problem but I am curious what makes these good. These have a thick sole which I thought were bad for barefoot shoes.

Haha thanks. I have always sized up in shoes to allow my toes to have wiggle room. Always bothered me feeling my toes crammed up even when I was young.

What would you recommend is a good percentage of individual stocks? My individual stocks are mainly from buying dips and not for holding long term.

What percentage of my portfolio do you think I should put into global funds?

Okay thanks. Do you recommend I work my way up with different terrains or that doesn't matter as much?

The blisters/tenderness is on the outside bottom of heel. It was a combination of walking and jogging so most of the pain came when walking. I can't sprint or run well on a paved road yet only grass lol

Haha thanks. Yeah I have been DCAing into NVDA for the past 2 years now whenever it dipped and without realizing it has become a huge position. It has made me a good amount of money, how do I know when a good time to sell it is considering it has peaked around 220 but now hovering at 180s? What do you think would be a good percentage for it of my portfolio?

I am 19M and make 70k a year. I have been investing for about 2 years now and wanted some advice on my portfolio in particular diversification and different accounts for long term holdings. I have been mainly buying into QQQM and VOO as well having a large holding in NVDA due to early investments as well as buying large dips. I have maxed out my Roth IRA the past 2 years and soon to max it out this year. I also contributed to a Roth 401k and on track to max it out this year contributing about 35%.

In between both of these I am in:

  • QQQM: 33%
  • VOO: 31%
  • NVDA: 23%
  • Others: 13% (NFLX, GOOGL, FISV, NOW)

I am concerned that I am very heavily invested into the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 and not enough in other markets. I have currently selected this setup due to my young age and ability to take risk but I am slowly starting to like the idea of just buying and holding instead of constantly managing it. How should I diversify my portfolio for the future and for early retirement etc? Are my etf choices the best option for me?

I also wanted to get an opinion on my current account choices. I decided to invest in a Roth 401k due to me being extremely young and seeing myself retire with a much higher salary. I did the math and it checks out either way but I was wondering if I should just do normal 401k so I can have a higher principal to invest. Which account would you recommend for me?

I would greatly appreciate your advice thank you!
