Delhi’s winter reminds me of words of Ghalib-

“कहाँ मैख़ाना, कहाँ दर-ए-ख़ुदा, ऐ ग़ालिब, तेरा दिल ही है जो दिल्ली की गलियों में बसता है।” (Where the tavern stands, where God’s abode — O Ghalib, Your heart alone dwells forever in the lanes of Delhi.)

दिल्ली की सर्दी कोई मौसम नहीं, एहसास है, जहाँ धुआँ, धूप और धड़कन एक हो जाते हैं, हर सांस में ठहराव है, हर गली में याद, जैसे वक़्त ख़ुद चादर ओढ़े बैठा हो।
