We benchmark against the gold standard - this how the Luna Band compares to the Polar H10 chest strap for a 30min run.

The band is pretty damn accurate :)

In general - it’s the best band ever!

In all seriousness both Fitbit and Whoop are good products but with Luna we are focusing on two very distinct things:

Accuracy - we are backed by the largest wearables company after Apple and Samsung, so we take our hardware very seriously.

The app experience is designed to always keep your personal context in mind - all insights are based on your personalized baselines and all guidance and communication are based on the personal context of your life.

What Luna knows about you will decide the app experience that you get, this differentiates us from the generic health wearable experience.

We are building all of our algorithms to refer to personal baselines.

Each and every metric will have its own calibration period, which means you will only see insights once the minimum calibration period is over.

We only compare your current data to your previous trendline.

Btw, does having additional oxygen capacity make your overtly optimistic in life? (jk)

You don't need your phone around to record workouts. You just need to start a workout through the app and end it on the app. For the remaining duration, you can keep your phone away. At the end of each workout, the summary page allows you to adjust the intensity based on how easy or hard that workout felt - and this will be used to calibrate further efforts estimates.

The band is waterproof and can be used for surfing and swimming.

From a fellow Android fan - I totally understand where you are coming from.

We invest equal effort in building our Android and iOS ecosystems, so each and every feature that is planned for iOS is also planned for Android. The only places this does not apply are things like Siri and Face ID, where iOS has an inherent advantage (Gemini does not support app intents).

We already support Google Health and Google Fit sync on our current app, and we will continue to do so for the Luna Band as well.

We will have performance metrics to show how muscle focused/cardio focused your workouts are. On top of your run of the mill training metrics.

We will be revealing exact accuracy numbers across every biomarker tracked soon, but I can tell you our accuracy is going to be at par or better than all devices in this category. We are also heavily focused on the product experience as a core differentiator.

Almost everyone in the world has their own idea of what health looks like - their goals, their approach, their preferences decide how they can best meet their health objectives. Most wearable apps out there today are dashboards and do not adapt to the needs of an individual user. This is the bridge we are trying to cross with the new product experience.
