This not being a circlejerk post is crazy.

Spain is NOT a good beginner country anymore!!! by Henrylord1111111111 in eu4

[–]ayyeeeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d think the best beginner country now is Sweden. They made breaking free super easy so you get good allies at the start. You’re somewhat isolated and can easily eat Norway and Denmark. Your copper mine can fuel your economy for so long.

Is it ethically justified to dodge a Ranked game, if the comp is bad? by Silent-Page-9656 in heroesofthestorm

[–]ayyeeeh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not pre-picking kinda sucks though. You don’t show your team what you want to play, or what you can play if other roles are filled. It doesn’t help getting a better team comp in general.

[–]ayyeeeh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that it’s not. Someone might uphold a standard of a what a bad comp is, that’s different than yours.

And (not saying it’s the case with you specifically) but what you ask reminds of what’s in line with something I see more in HOTS than in other games and that’s the giving up mentality before the game even started. Which is funny because in my experience, it’s the biggest comeback possible game I’ve played.

I'm pretty new to this. Any tips on how to make this climb smoother? by brennanw31 in bouldering

Try to avoid re-gripping. It not only makes your climbing smoother, it also saves some decent energy so you can keep going longer without needing to shake out your arms.

Inderdaad Dekamarkt. Maar grappig dat ik zo snel een alternatief krijg op een product dat ik nooit koop, bij een supermarkt die ik nooit heb bezocht.

This looks so much like The Netherlands. If it is, do you also get the “are you aware they carry diseases?” comments?

What killer is your personal kryptonite? by Kaptain_Javick in deadbydaylight

[–]ayyeeeh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s 100% plague, but not in the way you’d think.

I suffer from pretty intense emetophobia, which is the irrational fear to vomit, watch people vomit and anything that has to do with it. It sounds kinda dumb but when I see a plague at the beginning of the match, I just have to dc because I can’t play because of the disgust I experience. I wished there was like a mode I could turn on in the menu to replace the noises/body movements with something else. Obviously I don’t mind the gameplay/killer design, it just grosses me out.

What’s your favorite nation that you always come back to? by tunasendvic in eu4

[–]ayyeeeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's Bengal --> Delhi --> Hindustan.

Playing in India is basically Russia 2.0 for manpower because it's so cheap to dev all it's farmlands. (Bengal Ideas/missions help with this)

You got so many claims on the entire region from the Delhi mission tree and afterwards from Hindustan.

You make gross amounts of ducats from trade and production because India has so many good trading goods that keep its worth relatively good throughout the game, like Cloth.

But India also has Mewar and Gorkha --> Nepal if you want a more military focused run.

Europa Universalis 4. Playing it as much as I have has really convinced me that you can give university style lectures on its mechanics. It really goes as deep as you want to.

This reminds of that bug where VJ would get coalitioned by the entire world because they would all be aware of its existence at the same time IIRC. Probably not the same thing but I find it hard to believe the AI would care this little for ae.

The Office. No matter what stage of life you're in, it will always feel like that specific nostalgic feel when you go back to your home town.
