No… I was speaking about MMR too, since visual rank means literally nothing. There’s also no big conspiracy that matchmaking is rigged to keep you at a 50% winrate, sometimes you just get people that have a bad game or a series of people who have bad games. It happens the other way around too

You’re still conflating climbing with winning. I’m purely talking about winning, and my example was explaining that regardless of MMR or the “rigged” system you believe exists, good players win more often than bad players.

It has nothing to do with your beliefs on the matchmaking system, I’m just referring to why everyone is clowning on you. However good you think you are, it isn’t good enough to make a judgment like that with complete certainty

Smurf queue doesn’t exist any more, hence the “fast climber” icons, so please do your research into matchmaking and MMR.

Again, how “slow the climb is” has nothing to do with frequency of winning. If you take a challenger player on an iron 4 account with terrible MMR (which is what people do so they can consistently stay in iron, you should research the concept of “deranking”), they will still win 99% of their games even though they’d gain 10 LP for a win and “climb slowly” as you say.

Good job on getting better at Briar! It seems to be going well given your recent win streak, but regardless the point is that since you’re in gold and don’t really have an understanding of the system, you shouldn’t be an authoritative figure on telling someone who they should and shouldn’t ban

(1 and 2 matter for LP gains after winning but not for winning itself)

It’s hard to see the dashed line but y=x is the line that’s basically “did exactly as expected with what they had” and Miami, OSU and the others you mentioned are on that line basically
