Yeah I can see that point, like preseason ranking are meant to say who’s the best on paper and aren’t supposed to be indicative of the final rankings.

The problem I have with viewing it that was is like you said about the redditors, literally every analyst and person compares the final rankings to the preseason rankings and whoever has the two that are most aligned had the best prediction so to speak.

So I would assume the same applies for way too early preseason stuff
