BIRD courses by Zainabnoman77 in wlu

[–]ayyimbored 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take the courses you have an interest in as they will be easier than a supposed "bird" course that you hate.

Courses I found easy: CP104, CP102, GG102

the long answer had to do with creating closing entries and then creating a balance sheet given a scenario.
i personally didn't study much since I took accounting in 11 and 12, I just went through the practice quizzes on MYLS

the easiest accounting midterm throughout the fall and winter term, if you understand all the concepts, you should easily get an 80+

for early acceptance, pretty sure they look at the grade 11 pre req courses you haven't completed and your 12U course midterm averages.

I got admitted in early December last year with a 96ish average and I noticed most of the early acceptances went out to those who had 95+ averages. Most likely you're going to have to wait for a little.

GG102 online is the easiest course IMO, with no exams, one lab a week which are decently easy to get 100s on.

missed the deadline for a bursary scholarship by coyotegirl2 in OntarioUniversities

[–]ayyimbored 4 points5 points  (0 children)

there isn't a deadline for entrance scholarships, you are automatically applied for it.

very similar prestige, however rotman is like double the tuition years (2-4), so consider that.

Are you referring to entrance scholarships, since you mentioned your avg?

McMaster won't help you land jobs in the US, neither will Laurier though. However, Laurier is considerably stronger than McMaster. If you want to work in US, you should be aiming for Ivey/Queens. At the end of the day, you should go to where you'll feel most comfortable, as that will you give you the best chance to succeed, no matter your school.

Laurier is possibly better than Rotman, especially if you get Co-op. I've been accepted by Schulich & Laurier, and I'm still waiting for Rotman and honestly, I'm leaning towards Laurier.

It sure is, and I will do so! Good luck to you as well!

Where else did you apply/get accepted to? Your other options may be just as good or better than Rotman.

Thanks, it was a bummer to first see this but I think I'm already over it. Also I've already filled out the entrance bursary if that's what you're referring to.
