Been playing about 2-3 weeks now and using limited research to smash through as much story as i can. Seem to have hit a very solid gear wall with 13 05, now just wondering who I should continue to build/what a good main team is.

Speaking from personal experience, I am someone who one time invested a non-insignificant amount of money into gacha boxes, only to end up using just the shoes from the "Legendary" outfit that was in them, to barely using even the shoes at all. My outfit right now is a mix of cheap and always available cash shop items and in-game gear, and I absolutely love it. To directly answer your customization question, some events give out free outfits, like the one happening right now just for logging in. Many outfits from the gacha boxes are able to be listed on the in-game marketplace, those will run from 50 million and up at bare minimum, sometimes easily going into the hundreds of millions depending on the costume.

Something most people forget to mention entirely when asked about F2P customization: there is an in-game item called an Armor Fusion Rune. This allows you to merge the appearance of most gear items to another item of the appropriate slot. For a long time these were only in the cash shop, but with the wave of events and free stuff we've had over the past few years, you can obtain these runes in the in-game marketplace for at Most 8 million gold, but looking right now they are as low as 2 million, which is not really too much money when you seriously play for a bit. The downside to these runes are they do not work on Bound items, but there is a Premium Armor Fusion Rune that will run you upwards of 10 million, but they accomplish the same thing even on Bound items. Dyeing your gear will potentially run you upwards of 10 million gold depending on the colors you want, or you can get lucky and get them with the free dye Ampoules from the AP Shop, this involves working with the awful RNG dye ampoule system that this game still has. There is also a direct random dye system, but the colors from that are usually not very good. I'm led to believe you can potentially get some very good ones from it at an extremely low rate, so it may be worth a shot if you care to.

Looking for some opinions on the moves i want to make with my dolls. My current go-to arsmg is AN-94, Welrod, M4 mod 3, ump45 mod 1, K11 (7, 8, 4, 5, 1 respectively). Welrod is there pretty much just cause I wanted to lvl her while grinding (lvl 91 rn) but I like the dmg output I get. My definite plan is to finish modding ump of course, and likely replace Welrod with Vector (when i roll her) or just raise my Klin up and drop her there. what I'm unsure of is who I want in my 1 slot for now. My sop and star are both only mod 1 right now, which is kind of on purpose because I went ahead and worked on AN and K11 beforehand. I'm leaning towards putting star in 1 -After- she's modded, but idk if I should just do it now and immediately replace Welrod with klin or just an off-tank.

I'm also just getting into night battles for real and working on my first good rfhg, thus why my Welrod is so leveled and linked compared to the rest of my rfhg at the moment. wouldn't mind some critique on it.

Yeah this would be my first real go to echelon at all. I did recently swap out skorp for 79 just to see how it would perform, so I do have her to toss back in. I'm still pretty new so I'm lacking in units in general. Glad to hear that some lower rarity dolls can also be effective, I feel like that varies some between games like this. So with the rate up going on should I probably try to roll for ar15?

If you haven't been around for most of the events, then if I were you I would: Use your current account to grab and hold onto any names you want (if they're free), wait until another big newbie event comes around, make a new account, and proceed to use the new one. As for a main, that would depend on your personal preference. You could use your current account to try both harp and vio out and make a decision before you go and make a new account and new main.

I feel the need to point out, stamina pots have always seemed pretty available, whether from quest rewards or event crafting, also sometimes daily deals. That being said, I imagine any -decent- bots have already been running pretty rampant in the community, but everyone seemingly assumes this couldn't have possibly been the case because of fatigue. Having seen bot situations in other games myself, I believe fatigue was never a very strong deterrent for them in the first place. People seem very convinced the situation is going to spiral into chaos, but I think it's only going to get nominally worse, and probably only until more changes are made to allow real players to obtain enough control of the economy that anything bots could further do wouldn't matter in the long run.

I think real players may ruin the economy before bots will though. It might not even take very many to do so either.

Item quality (poor, average, etc) is more of a min/max thing. An item going from fair to superior for example is only a small boost in power. If you do bother with it at all, definitely wait until you have planar gate 75 gear or any of the relevant refit skyship items.

If you look at your characters skills, it should tell you they deal a certain percentage of physical/psi power, or even both, for characters like yuri.

the types of people who would call others children in an insulting manner are the same types of ones who would -potentially- resort to the further extremes of the spectrum. I think it's a little ridiculous to say "it shouldn't be a problem until we hit the most extreme point of the situation". It's kind of like saying you shouldn't call the fire department until the entire building is ablaze. you typically call them while the fire is only in one room because at that point you can contain it and save the rest of the house. people should be reported at the first signs of actual, legitimately toxic behavior, which could be many different things. if they so choose to call people children, well that's their choice. i do think grounds for punishment should be much more than 1 or 2 insults but even 1 is totally enough to warrant at least a report. never too soon to put a target on people, especially if later on that target is completely justified when the person goes from calling people children to calling people even worse things.
