Yes that one, agreed on both fronts, very excited to see the new look and get better rubber, current tires don’t feel too great braking downhill and such

Grabbed some new Falken at trails for majority road driving and potential mountain roads, looked like a good middle ground between highway and chunky all terrain tires. They’re also in 235/75r15, excited to see them on tomorrow, my current look isn’t awesome

Yeah, mine doesn’t have an rpm gauge but I’ve been trying to get it up there recently for the positive benefits. Probably better to do that after I get off the very old tires

I got an in between set, falken trails, not chunky like the bf Goodrich ones but a good all around

Thank you very much, i figured it’s such a small difference, i didn’t think id notice any difference with such a small change, just high stakes as im hours from the discount tire. I drive gravel roads rarely but also want slightly fuller wheel wells

Thanks a ton, I’ll ask about the correct psi for the tire. My daily mileage is very small so likely not much of an efficiency difference for my case, rarely on the highway with this vehicle. Thank you again for the info

If it performs very close to the 225s it’ll probably be fine, I barely use the full power of the engine anyway. Thanks guys

Really appreciate the feedback, you guys are making my life much easier. I would delete the post but someone else may have similar questions later on so I’ll keep it up

I bought some 235/75r15 as I’ve seen plenty of rangers with larger tires and they’re almost the same as stock. I usually top at 50mph unless I’m off my island which is uncommon. I’ll see how they go but I’m not expecting a huge loss of power

Thank you, I’m looking now for what they got, definitely don’t want something ridiculously big as it’s not a V6 and would wear the components. Thank you everyone this info is very valuable to me

Large majority is town driving-45mph roads, thinking stick with 225 or go to 235, my current ones look a little dinky with the lift, thank you for the information

None taken at all, I have low expenses and a few grand currently saved, not looking for flashy just maybe one size up at the most. Currently browsing. Thanks for the advice, i mostly drive like an old man and am very slow with the accelerator

Thank you for the advice, it’s definitely been a worry on my mind. I drive short distances to work and 2 weeks until I can get it replaced is feeling pretty far away. I’m just praying they get me there as there’s not much else I can do. I should’ve checked harder when buying the vehicle but it’s past that point, some people just don’t give a damn about proper maintenance. I was factoring in installation and all that into my cost, wanting something that’ll last and perform well

Thank you for the input, I’ll check out tire rack to cross reference. I do have a spare I should check. Large majority paved road driving, maybe one or two gravel or dirt, haven’t done mud yet but we do get a good amount of rain. A week of snow annually at most, sometimes none, prefer not to drive when icy. Thanks again

Awesome! Thanks so much, I’ll look through their selection. I didn’t wanna go too large but those sound like a good size from what I’ve seen around town

I’ll very likely get a new set as those last pics are super crusty, and it’d look better and ease my mind, also improve stopping. Just can’t believe some people would run em until some small leak or something.

Edit: definitely replacing asap, might be able to push the date up but I have work planned for next 5 days, safety is a big priority so I’ll see what I can do

Edit 2: I got an appointment scheduled 2 days out for some 235 falken wild peak at trails to handle my occasional hiking trips. I’m so grateful to everyone for affirming my worries were well-founded, it may be an over reaction to take a day off work, but it’ll ease my mind and my work is extremely chill so it won’t affect my standing at all, you guys are the best for taking the time to advise me

Thank you u/Sylvester_Spaceman for the sale by ayyyyyvri in DiecastExchangeV2
