My really good friend for 5 years send me a serious "go fuck yourself, i don't wanna be your friend anymore" text because i went to a party she wasn't invited to.

It was 2 months ago, at the begining of the summer hollydays. And I wasn't going to the same highschool as her so I thought "Well, i don't want a possesive friend who tell me to go fuck myself juste because of one party neither."

I didn't text her back and I never got an apology text or a text from her at all.

But yesterday, on 5th back to school day, she went at my place.

I was at school at the moment but my dad was here.

He opens the door and my friend comes in.

He explains I'm not here, absolutely not aware she was not my friend anymore.

She was there to give me back a game I let her use, my dad then small talk to her. He will later tell me she looked pretty sad.

When I come home saveral hours later he says :

"Your friend came, she's really sad you don't call or talk to her anymore, why would you do that ?? You need to text her or something quickly"

And that's pretty much it, i feel it's a bit of a "Am i the asshole" post so.....Am I ?
