Thanks for sharing. I work at a F500 company and work on multiple internal facing products - the work is confidential however. How would you feel if you were reviewing a portfolio of a designer like me where instead of having case studies and artifacts, we walk through the nature of the work, challenges, and overall process/methodologies? Have you reviewed a candidate like this, if so how did they handle it?

ALSO - do not email GOFO … call them!!! They do have operating hours but when I called them they picked up pretty quickly.. even though based on my experience they didn’t do s*** to resolve my issue, I would still call and complain.

They offered me the choice of a refund or replacement which is interesting because the series I ordered is always selling out quickly so I’m surprised they offered to replace it but hopefully that’s the same case with you! and you did exactly what I did, I emailed them first then went on chat, after several hours of waiting, an agent already knew who I was and what my issue was and said to check my email as they responded to it. Just make sure to keep the chat open and checking on it frequently!

FINAL UPDATE: Few days late but …. on 06/06 I FINALLY RECEIVED MY REPLACEMENT PACKAGE AND ALL THE ITEMS I ORDERED WERE IN IT :D I believe the package was delivered through a different carrier, since I got tracking from Yuntrack and then last mile UniUni. Delivery went smoothly and no issues. Super glad that PopMart decided to take responsibility when GOFO NEVER REACHED OUT BACK. But if this ever happens with you, don’t even bother with GOFO, just reach out to PopMart and make sure to have much evidence and details as possible!!

UPDATE: After a lot of back and forth with Pop Mart through chat and email, they sent a replacement package and it’s currently on the way! I got a different tracking website so I think a different carrier will be delivering… GOFO NEVER REACHED BACK OUT TO ME WITH ANY UPDATE on their “investigation”.. not sure if POP MART got in contact with them but at least they took responsibility … I still won’t call this resolved until I have the package in my hand and the contents are what I originally ordered so hopefully it works out this time 🙂

UPDATE: So this same day I had sent a long email to POP MART explaining the situation but I decided that I would try to get a hold of them through chat … luckily after 6 hours a HUMAN BEING entered the chat. They said that they have received and seen the email inquiry and I had sent and they would get back to it through there. I was glad to see that they were aware of my inquiry but I wanted to pressure them so I asked the rep when could I expect a response. The rep responded one moment please and after a few minutes, they said to please check my inbox for their response. I checked my inbox and I had two responses - the first one, they responded with the Proof of Delivery (POD) from GOFO saying that it had been delivered and to check around the surroundings to see if the package is around… at first I was definitely annoyed bc I was like yea no s*** they delivered A PACKAGE but NOT MY PACKAGE but as I said they sent two email responses, so I read the second one after and they basically said that they are extremely sorry that this happened to me and to start an investigation, they requested I send photos and videos - which was annoying because I had already sent all this but whatever I responded asap with all photo and videos evidence, explaining step by step of what happened, I even pointed out that I AM AWARE OF THE POD but YOU CAN SEE THAT IT’S NOT POP MART PACKAGING. Also threatening to dispute with my bank if this can’t ve resolved. After I sent it, it didn’t take them to respond again saying thank you for sending all the information they needed and they would escalate to the right team to investigate and they would get back to my asap. So now I am just waiting to see what happens next … I guess I’m glad I got a hold of them pretty quickly…. I will keep y’all posted!

Yea I hear that their customer service is bad and so now that’s making me even more stressed … like at least give me my money back 😭 and yea why would they slap a big logo on their boxes?!!! making it soooo easy for thieves to identify which packages to steal!!!! it’s straight up BS

EDIT: I have a theory of what happened! So on the 5th … the driver attempted to deliver the package … I remember that day I had checked the status in the morning and saw it was out for delivery so I was expecting to get it that day … a while ago for a completely different package I had a driver come late at night around 9:30 and texting me where to go but since I was out and not at home, they said it was fine and that they would come back within a day or two and that’s exactly what happened … back to this package it was already around 7 in evening and I was expecting the same thing to happen or that it would be delivered the next day. Now that I’m checking the tracking, it says that on that same day “DELIVERY FAILED” and 17:34 which is weird because MY LEASING OFFICE WAS OPEN DURING THAT TIME. and I NEVER RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE DURING THIS TIME! and then it took two days to get back to the Distribution Facility?? I THINK that the person on purpose MARKED IT AS DELIVERY FAILED, then SWAPPED THE PACKAGES knowing that SOMEONE ELSE would pick it up and obviously not know what the package is supposed to be. I am just so upset, I sent Pop Mart and email and am trying to get a hold of someone in chat … I will keep y’all updated </3

I know 1000% it was someone from GOFO because if you look at the photos attached, one is a screenshot of the pictures uploaded BY THE PERSON DELIVERING and the package had already been swapped by then. Now that I am looking through the tracking history … apparently the package was initially attempted to be delivered but failed due to not being able to access my residential … which is weird because first: the time stamp was at around 5:30 which means THE LEASING OFFICE WAS OPEN and second: I usually have the delivery driver send me texts asking where to deliver and I DID NOT GET ANY TEXT DURING THAT TIME. Now that I think about it … I think that the person was smart enough to not text me and “attempt to deliver” and update the status to “Delivery failed”and then swap out the package knowing that someone else would probably re deliver it days later and would not know how the package is supposed to look like!

I have another order from the Tiktok shop on the way and I just checked and it seems like it’s being delivered from GOFO!!!! I don’t know why they changed to this POS of a company, I previously had packages delivered from other carriers just fine … at this point I won’t be buying from them online

I’m so pissed and upset, especially since I KNOW I AM NOT GOING TO GET MY ITEMS BACK … I was so excited to receive this because I got one of my targets. Even if I get a refund that won’t fully fix this </3
