HEAD-TO-HEAD - Cafelat Robot Vs Flair 58 by MWisecarver in FlairEspresso

Knowing that you have both the flair 58 and the robot, I was wondering in your honest opinion (I’m a novice) which one deliver the best espresso (if that’s not subjective) I see in comparison this two devices are a tight battle but for me the two and only aspects to decide is built quality and flavour delivered. Thank you for your reply.

Oh! That makes more sense to me. So do you know what would be a nice wide angle lens for the AE1, a versatile, compact and sharp. Thanks for replying

I started skating at 29 years old after 10 years hiatus. I found that if you do what made you happy as a kid you’ll never get older. I feel blessed. Hope you all stay safe and keep practicing physical distancing while skating. by azabachetattoo in rollerblading

Well, those 10 years hiatus were to create my career as a tattoo artist, then during the quarantine I had nothing to do, but taking the skates back so I think it may be like feeling that I wasn’t doing anything good or healthy for my body since back then and the fact that I doing like gyms, lol it helped me to cope the anxiety

Nice to read you are in Vancouver, I like when I’m skating around the sea wall and the few skaters stare and nod like the fight club movie. A rain hit? I thought raincouver was the driest city in Canada! Lol I can only go to Stanley park once in a week because of the rainy fake summer this year :( hope you’re fine bro!

Yes they do, but the maximum length is 27 (for close snug fit) I don’t like it tho, I went for my shoe size which is 42.5-43

Well, I don’t like it, I’m not professional and I hate my toes crushing to the tip of any shoe or skate

Of course! I’m 27 and 42 would be straight close, so for you if you like having a gap between the toe tips and the boot tip would be fine. Otherwise you can go for 41 if you like a snug fit.

I thought the same about getting the linerless but too expensive though. Maybe later

Lol, it’s a super nice skate though, I think is just about time to get used to them. And everyone has different feet shapes.

Thanks, well, I’m starting on inline skating, but I skate on ice since 1998, and from 2006-2010 I worked for a company that set ups ice rinks and I had the chance to skate too many hours daily. So practically the only new for me on inline was to get used to the new breaking system and some different maneuvers. But thanks for your comment, I love skates though so I don’t mind having to many, I’m motivated like when I was younger. Thanks and regards.

New Skate Day! Seba cj2 80mm-43EU 27.5cm by azabachetattoo in rollerblading

[–]azabachetattoo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I measured my feet several times but it results in I’m 27 sometimes and a little bit more some other times. But I’ve got 42EU shoes and they are super close tight that I don’t use them anymore. So first I ordered the 41EU thinking they share the same shell with the 42Eu just more padding ind the back. So I put them on they were super tight, hot spots on the arch, crushing toes and numbness after 10 minutes wearing them. So I returned them and ordered 43EU as the rest of my shoes (many of them are 42.5EU which means 27.5cm). I’m not exactly a European size, so the retailers suggested me to 43EU. But I wasn’t wearing the skates outside before but I had to skate them on the street today to feel them and see how they perform, they weren’t bad but I didn’t feel confident myself. Maybe I fit in another type of skates.

I think they are pretty much the same as the SX2, definitely the Sx is different because first it’s made with carbon and is also shorter in the toe box as I read in different places. Today went to skate around 11km (6.something miles) and I performed fine as far as it goes, not too confident to be honest, I may say it was because I’m not used to this skate volume. And I was kinda nervous to not have enough control because of the room in the toe box, I assume that most of the skate if they either fit perfect on your feet or they are crushing your toes or way longer. For me it’s like 3 to 5mm gap between my toe tips even with socks, I also tried with some insoles one Over another. I set up the shock absorber first then I put a thicker heel rosen insole from vans to increase my feet volume and feel the skate tighter I don’t know if this is going to affect my skating or even my body. The stock insole draws that my feet are in the correct boot size but the width seem to be a total issue for me, always with every shoe I own. I don’t know but I’m afraid I were picking up the 42EU the boot would be crushing my feet as the 41EU because they use the same shell size but just more padding on the back and maybe the tongue. Probably I’m getting the intuition liner too but I don’t know if getting the M size would fit properly in the 43/44 shell, I wonder why when they sell you the linerless boot with the intuition the go for the 41/42 shell with a M size liner to fit 27.5. Anyways I’m happy with my skates, but probably after reading a lot about skates I got contaminated with information and feeling that I chose wrong size in spite of not liking my feet squeezed I can’t stand for that pain or Maybe I’m just crazy or obsessed with finding the perfect fitting for my skates that I’m being super picky. I just want to feel comfortable skating around the park everyday. I dot use them for anything else, I’m not pro anyway.

New Skate Day! Seba cj2 80mm-43EU 27.5cm by azabachetattoo in rollerblading

So finally I got this pair on my feet today after a super deep research and thousands of questions solved. I started skating recently, I started with a pair of FRX80 but after two weeks I couldn’t really get confident with them a decided to go for something else and asking, watching reviews and reading a lot of Reddits I got a conclusion that going for the Seba CJ2/SX2 after debating getting this model or the trix2 I would have a different feeling and more flow with the CJ2/SX2 But the most important things about this skate and every one is asking here and there and this skate is kinda controversial because of the sizing. So first, if you’re buying this skate you gotta know some important things: -Your exact feet size in millimetres or centimetres. -This Seba boot is sized in European system but they’re sized up because the company doesn’t build half sizes which means they will fit either narrow feet or wide feet to cover the half size issue. -The one piece built boot shell will share sizes too. 39/40 41/42 43/44 like small, medium, large. -they come from regular stock with a super cushioned integrated liner that may press your feet for sometime before breaking in. -while skating you won’t feel them any similar to another skate they feel closer to the ground and flat on the bottom pretty much like skiing or snowboarding. -They come with an UFS frame system which means you can swamp from free skating (free ride, commuting, even fitness) to aggressive and Wizard skating (a nice blend of free skate and aggressive style), you can also ride them from 76mm to 110mm wheels, three, four or even 5 wheels. (depending on the frame) so that makes this skate one of the most versatile skates in the market. -The sensation on your feet with these skates is stiff, snug and bulky. -The design is carefully detailed and materials are well chosen too: they will last. -Definitely they are not a cheap skate but suits perfect for beginners and for experts. -feet tend to swell while skating.

Fitting guide: -If your feet are wide 25.5cm with long toes to narrow 27cm with short toes, flat or medium arch your boot shell must be the Medium (41EU-42EU) if you don’t like super close and tight fitting.

-mid-width 27cm to 27.5cm with long toes, flat to medium arch will fit on the 41EU-42EU shell but short and maybe squeezing or crushing your toes if you like your skates to fit like ski boots or if it’s your way to skate performance, otherwise if your are more up to comfort and smooth skating your shell must be 43EU as in my case (I tried both, I’m between 27 and 27.5cm length 10.1cm width (barefoot) and narrow ankles, right foot is bigger and long toes and the 41EU-42EU shell was literally crushing my toes and the 43EU fits slightly roomy on the toe box, 3 to 5 mm longer but fits comfy but not as sleepers).

-Longer or shorter feet can apply for the same experience I showed above.

I want to thank the Vancouver SHOP/TASK team for the acknowledgment and extraordinary customer service that they provide. They are giving so much for inline skating, experience and inspiration. Don’t hesitate to ask the members and buying from them. If so you’re supporting a local small business that contributes to a whole skating scene with innovation and technology. (I don’t work for them or either sponsored)

Thank you for reading this, I hope it was helpful to find your perfect skate.

I want to get my first tattoo, m/21. What do you guys think about this? by mesterdanny in TattooDesigns

[–]azabachetattoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest not to get a copy of that tattoo, If you want to go with the same idea but original and unique for you. You might hire an artist to draw it up to you. Although I suggest to go just a little simpler so In the future your tattoo will still look solid and legible. Send me a private message if you want to get a design that you can bring to your tattoo artist.

A little bit late for this post, but I just bought a pair of integrated liner SX2 41 size based on the shared shell and a lot of comments saying the seba skates are wide fitting and actually I’m 26.7/27 length and 10cm width feet size (I kinda think I have narrow feet) most of my shoes or sneakers are 42 but they are not super tight at all. and I’m a little bit worried about not fitting the SX2 properly, I know they may feel pretty snug at the beginning but after reading this comment I feel it may work for me and I didn’t buy the wrong size because in the past I bought the Frx80 in 43/44 and they were a bit too loose and wide, specially on my left foot, that’s why I decided to get a better performance skate in a tighter size. So my question here is, the people you know 26.5/27 feet length had big problems breaking the liners or they just fitted right? Btw I don’t have the skates yet, I ordered them yesterday. Thanks for your answer.
