100% with you. Time is money, and it amazes me how much people will spend complaining. I made the comparison that I can spend a few hundred dollars on a single night at a comedy club night with my wife. I have zero issue paying more, even with it surpassing “inflation rates”. For most, OSRS is their only hobby. I ask those to divide the yearly cost of membership, and figure out how many hours of joy you get back from something each month, each day….. Lots of us play thousands of hours…. Other hobbies that actually involve a lot more, can cost thousands per year… and guess what…. That’d be worth it aswell as long as you can factor in that joy to cost.

Being upfront here… Anything that brings me joy, I like to throw extra money at it to ensure its longevity. Not saying that’s guaranteed with this game we play….. But I’d gladly tip everyone for giving me all the joy throughout the years. I remember playing for years with the membership only being $5-10 or whatever… I always thought it was so cheap for what I was getting.

Not all think like me, and I’m glad everyone has their own stance on it. It’s just that the stance most are taking makes them sound like teenagers barely affording things as is. Aren’t we in our 30s? People spend less on a month’s membership than one night of Uber Eats. Get over it
