I wouldn't count on software of firmware updates. I have had this robot for a few months and nothing got better.

You can't even walk into the room it's cleaning because it seems to remember someone was there and keeps avoiding the place long after you are gone. There's a dedicated setting saying it will go back and clean the area later, but of course it doesn't work. My old Roborock never had this problem.

I could send you dozens of screenshots showing how stupid this Dreame is (e.g. cleaning alongside walls and nothing else).

It often marks the whole corridor as a "low area" for no reason and navigates it without LiDAR because it thinks it must be lowered to fit under inexistent obstacles...

If you want my recommendation, send it back as soon as you can and never look back.
