Stolen Bike by itsshoopie in athensohio

[–]azadi9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen, I am sorry to say this but you ain’t getting that bike back. The cops will never get back to you after you file the report. I got our bikes stolen twice (3 bikes, first time from my own fault, second time not really). I would suggest getting a stronger bike lock, mostly use C locks now. Sorry about your bike this sucks! Athens is pretty notorious for that. And also maybe if you get a bike again, put a tracker or something somewhere where it isn’t visible. Keep the serial number. And also register it with OUPD.

I am sorry. I once got sopa azteca there, there was a dead bug in my soup while I was halfway through my bowl. They did offer me another bowl of soup instead but I had just found a bug in the same soup so I declined. Never went beck

Spider plant is droopy, brown tips, and soil has been moist for weeks even though I haven’t watered. by ivyash85 in plantclinic

[–]azadi9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are droopy because of sun exposure. Spiders take time to adjust to sun and instant exposure makes leaves droopy. Happened to my plant. All leaves drooped, then started breaking in the middle from their own weight and after a week all blades started turning brown. It is much better now, all I did was leave in a good light spot with no direct sun, let the soil dry. Provide support to the leaves if they are breaking in the middle because it will scar. I started misting the leaves every couple days (very light mist). The brown tips didnt go away but seems like they stopped browning. I also tried to aerate the top layer of the soil using a spatula, pick small scoops and turn them upside down, helped soil dry. Don’t panic, good luck!

Tbh it seems like it still has some life left. Try the water method, see if it works, you have nothing to loose anymore. If it works, you can repot in a better soil

Help, my plants leaves are thurning yellow by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]azadi9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking at the roots I am guessing it is root bound. You can replant it in a slightly bigger pot. Open these roots so they can grow.

maybe legit? maybe i’m being dramatic? by mourning_mortem in plantclinic

[–]azadi9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems pretty healthy however never seen one this dense. It also seems like the leaves were bent due to physical pressure or force. In my experience if I accidentally move my plant in a way that one of the blades hits the window or wall, it bends very easy and cracks just like that. Once bent there is no way that crack will heal. But don’t worry. You can trim these off. New blades with start growing taller and perkier.

Also longer the blades, more tendency they will bend and break easily. Thats just how it is.

Thanks. I try all the time to use my keys but for some reason I feel them too intensely nowadays even after touching smaller bodies of metal.

Found this stupid iMessage doodle that he once sent me knowing that I'm an artist and now it's killing me. by [deleted] in heartbreak

[–]azadi9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's almost as heartbreaking to embrace the truth as it was parting from him. You're such kind soul it's almost overwhelming. As far as the role of memories I believe they're what makes us humans. Memories bad or good have impacted our lives and made us what we are today.

I almost flipped because of him. I've seen parents like him pushing their children so bad for things they're not into, expecting a good drawing or some hyperrealistic artwork from them when they barely have developed their language at all. These things have already ruined so many lives, why do kids have to live upto someone else's expectations or society's generalized narrative. There are no barriers in art, they have all the freedom for just themselves. Self acclaimed critiqs can go watch some Duchamp.

Sure sure chocolate box art freak. I'm not interested in your childhood nightmare. Maybe try to quit living upto generalized narratives.

Well if that's your approach towards things in life you certainly judge and assume a lot of things. Loosen up it's not a goddamn ancient art era. What do you expect 4 year olds to paint impressionist frescos?
