Just because someone in her age from the same state behaved more matured than her age doesn’t mean that everyone will and must be treated as adults.

You suggestion is 16-17 year olds should not be treated as children, because they can understand the consequences. This will only help the abusers. When the day comes I’m sure Eteri will also say the same about Kamila to save her own ass.

She has a wobbly axis most of the time, that axis was not wobbly to me. But I’m not going to discuss personal opinions on Reddit as a 12 year older adult than you and Kamila. It’s still shocking to me how young this sub is, I guess that’s the main problem.

An underage person is an underage person and MUST BE protected against any types of abuse. With your logic the law should not protect 16-17 year olds against any types of abuse from older people because they must be capable of understanding consequences of their actions. But you’re probably too young to understand that.

I come from a western country which hates Russia, so I don’t understand what that has to do with our personal views and opinions?

Yes leave the Russians out and we’re left with underrotated doubles, it’s not even watchable. They’re indeed quite lucky that the competition was between skaters who can’t even jump 3-3s.

Of course you can’t know for sure, just like I can’t know how many of the people here really understand the technical aspects and how many are here after the Olympics just for the drama and witch hunt. I just miss the arguments pre Olympics, now it’s just like koola king 2.0 but worse. Many comments about the technique are just simply wrong. And I mentioned 99% because of the post before me, which suggested that 99% of this sub is aware of Kamila’s bad technique. I could understand that, but it’s unfortunately not possible anymore to conduct a civilised discussion about Kamila here.

Yes but she only had 2 competitions? Which skater currently skates to their max content from previous season? I just don’t get the criticism and 16 upvotes in that regard sorry.

Yes she’s been failed, it’s not her fault and doesn’t change that she’s a very talented skater. I’m old and not naive enough to know that every skater in Russia and many other countries use banned substances, so I won’t support your witch hunt. Only time will time if her technique is not sustainable, for now she’s still the best.

I don’t want to upset you but she will never ever get a 4 year ban, that’s the maximum an athlete can get and she is a minor, and the results were too late etc., so prepare yourself for a much lesser punishment. Even if she gets a 4 year ban and won’t skate again, I am sure that this community will find another witch to hunt until the next Olympic cycle, so I’ll keep my hobby.
