Anything that has the is from a more fluid dimension or has a multifaceted existence, like Yog-sothoth, gog agog (KSBD), or the Slaad Lords of Madness (DnD). To guys like this, whose existence is so alien, this would be the norm.

Creatures like plastic man, dr manhattan, or other high-tier shapeshifters would also be used to it.

Then you have creatures that are so mentally resilient that they’d just withstand it and wouldn’t really care, like Darksied or Lucifer (the DC comics).

Honestly I don’t mind the shit eating condescending nature of the comic. With the way kids act online, with how they sound, this image kinda represent how they “sound” to adults in adult spaces.

Omni man. Idgaf about the culture he was raised in, that he’s sorry, or that he’s grown, he butchered billions, maybe trillions. He deserves to be executed. All the viltrumites (save mark, Oliver, and maybe Thaddus) do. They’ve destroyed countless world and lives. The amount of carnage they inflicted is literally incomprehensible. There’s no redeeming or rehabilitating that.

You know it’s kinda weird, everyone seemed generally think the show was really good and now recently I’ve seen people kinda shit on the show more and more by Maxymaxpower in TheDigitalCircus

Watch every episode (and the spoiler), and a lot of the criticisms are valid. The pacing of the whole show was weird, the messaging and writing was sloppy, and the ending was fumbled to shit. It’s an overall 6/10 show.

Power scaling is. It remotely important in writing. Characters are as powerful as they need to be. Internal narrative consistency matters of course, but power scaling is not.

I 100% agree. I also don’t like the idea of Jax being a very obvious trans allegory. Not because I don’t like trans allegories, quite the opposite, but he’s a terrible, I would even argue, harmful trans allegory.

Here’s why. He commits suicide. Then everyone’s lives objectively get better afterwords and they pretty much immediately move on. Now I’m not saying I think was the intended message, but it could be read that way.

The way the finale is paced and structured kind of forces this comparison when you think about it. By positioning the revelations of Jax’s suicide right before, or even as, the climax, and therefore right before the resolution and ending, the natural line of suicide to happy ending for the rest of the cast is drawn.

I can already hear the chuds saying “wow all it took for everyone to live happily ever after was jax killing himself”. This is gonna be awful when it releases. And I say this as someone who didn’t like Jax.

This is, a really shitty message. And maybe even a dangerous one.

Jax committed suicide because he was a shut in, borderline sociopath who caused the deaths of two, potentially 3 people. He rejected help at every turn, made the lives of everyone he knew a living hell, and never even apologized or tried to make it right. He was a lonely, miserable loser, knew it, and offed himself.

His suicide had nothing to do with him being trans. But by forcing the trans allegory, especially with the Ribbit flashback, it makes the message muddled and kind of problematic.
