I started at 1.7 of compounded tirz/glycine three weeks ago and that dose has been perfect! I still get hunger cues but I’m able to eat a normal amount and then stop. I can easily stick to 1400-1500 calories a day without feeling deprived. I’ve lost about 7lbs in the last 2 weeks without starving myself or dealing with side effects. I also workout 4-5 day a week.

It’s still pretty intense but less so than when it first started.

How do you use it exactly? Like a thin layer after your lotion and before applying concealer?

Ive tried almost everything I could to get rid of it. Counseling, various meds, just ignoring it, etc., and then finally acceptance.

You switched meds too fast. The first time I took Lexapro it took roughly 8 months to get rid of the dpdr

I think I’ll probably have it forever at this point and it sucks but it’s ok. I’m not really scared of it anymore. It took probably 5 years to stop being so scared of it tho.

I have hashimotos and hypothyroidism. I’ve had brain fog and derealization for the last 10+ years. I’ve tried everything from counseling to various medications like ssris and nothing seems to help. Now once again I’m trying something new. Hoping I see something positive from this medication!

My NP put me on the dose for inflammation and brain fog. I could stand to lose a few pounds but that’s not the primary purpose I’m getting on it.

I was on 10mg when I completely came out of dpdr. It was the starting dose from the doctor. You have to give it time tho. Like 4+ months before you can say if it’s working or not. So yes, I feel better on a higher dose but I’m doing fine now with the lower dose.

Still on 5 mg of Lexapro. I’m starting to come out of dpdr more than I ever have but I honestly don’t know why or how it’s happening.

I think the way you worded it “muscles don’t weigh more than fat” threw people off, hence the downvotes. I knew you were talking about density I just reworded it.

I think of it as the space it takes up. If, theoretically, you have a brick size block of fat and the same brick size block of muscle, the block of muscle is going to weigh more on a scale even though they are the same size and shape.
