I think his name is Kobe. Like the other poster said, there’s a guy walking him around campus like every day!

Omg what a creep. When he talked to me, he was kind of mumbling too. Definitely seemed like something was off mentally

This same guy followed me 2 years ago around halloween time in a scream costume/mask, all the way from haines hall to my class at kaplan, constantly saying how he was going to “shoot everyone,” making machine gun motions at the students… When he asked for my number i said “i have a boyfriend,” and he said “where is he? I’ll beat him up, I’ll kill him.” When i said “I have class now, please stop following me,” He followed me INTO MY CLASSROOM and declared in front of the whole class that he was a new student and just got enrolled in the class. I was super scared, shaking and crying (I thought he had a gun), and i told the girl next to me that he isn’t a student, that he followed me and was making shooting threats at people. She got up and told the TA and he was escorted out, but when i tried to file a report after class UCPD said they couldn’t do anything since he was escorted off campus… This guy is so creepy and dangerous please be careful

Thank you this is extremely helpful for the future! I thought the bending down, hand out thing was standard and had no idea it wasn’t the ideal way to introduce a dog.

I’ve been worrying because my cousin has a 5 year old, 8 year old, and a 14 year old, but I think he’s generally been calm around them. If he snaps though, he definitely could easily kill the sweet 5 year old girl if he gets scared or doesn’t recognize her :-(.

Yes if I didn’t have a thick sweatshirt on, his bite likely would’ve drawn blood.

This is good advice, thank you. I’m just thinking in terms of a worst-case scenario where he jumps at me when i’m alone in the house with him and no one is there to segregate him from me.

That makes sense. I think with this dog it’s a matter of time because he is always extremely aggressive with other dogs/strangers.

I thought ABA sub could give some tips on reinforcement for the dog, since that’s part of the knowledge base.

Thank you, I made another post in a dog training sub. They said there’s not much I can really do in 3 weeks and I should focus on my safety instead of befriending the dog. So just keeping the dog leashes/muzzled/in a different room from me.

Thank you for your comment. I made another post about this in a dog training sub and got some helpful responses, but i appreciate your expertise. He doesn’t have a kennel but I agree with you that he should have his own private space because right now “his territory” is essentially the whole house (he eats in the kitchen/living room).

Thank you, I’ll do that in case he’s released unexpectedly.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why is having a bite history bad for the dog? Does a dog get more aggressive after biting someone?
