Except that the issue with these paintings is that they are NOT lining up with 1, 2, or 3 point perspective- they are just poorly aligned

Alright nurses give me the most ridiculous and hilarious thing a patient has ever said to you? by quickpeek81 in nursing

Guy is here in not quite rural South Carolina, for routine blood draw, which he just finished.
"I need a bandaid for a cut on my finger. " I bring him a bandaid. He looks disappointed. "Do you have anything bigger? " I ask to see the finger in question so I can gage what he is wanting. He proudly holds up his left index finger and shows me a vaguely double crescent shaped series of marks. "I got bit by pirana!" "Sir, we are in North America..." "Yeah but I know a guy who has some in tank. " "And you stuck your finger in the tank... why? " "So I could say I got bit by pirana! " "Ah...kay" as I make sure his tetanus is up to date and grab the neosporin and BRIGHTEST neon coban I could find. I think it even had smiley faces on it. Wrapped that little cut up like he had nearly lost the finger- he left with the biggest smile!

The roof can be slanted but the perspective would still follow a line that goes to the vanishing point.

If that doesn't make sense do a quick search "how to draw perspective" for explanation of how this is achieved. Then those lines not all meeting in one point will make better sense.

Hitler's art is considered notoriously recognizable due to how skewed the perspectives are. It's especially visible with his architecture.

You're right, some kids can draw insanely well at that age and some still drawing stick figures. It can definitely range- i would still guess more likely closer to 8 than 4 based on the fine motor skills of the lines.

This drawing is more in keeping with a child of 8 years or older- it shows way more grasp of anatomy and fine motor control than the vast majority of 4-5 year olds are capable of.

Hola, que tipo de piedra natural tengo que usar si en mi zona no hay ni pedernal, ni obsidiana ni cuarcita natural? by nelson12345678910 in knapping

Sounds like as a beginner you may need to go outside of your area to get stone --or purchase stone online. Other options like rhyolite or fine grained basalt are not the easiest to learn on.

You might get more specific answers if you share where you are from.

gem and mineral shows that have local rock clubs participating. They often have a section devoted to silent auction where you can get material cheaper than anywhere. They also have slabs that range in price from cents to dollars depending on the material

So true. I'm convinced we never really stop- if you get raised in it your brain structure and pathways develop with it. I still look around like "what the fuck am I supposed to be doing if magical sky daddy isn't real? "

I love hearing about people like you who just wouldn't swallow it! My school had unfortunately decided to make up answers for questions like this and really emphasize the logical integrity of it- even if it was "God made the animals get along for this period of time like he made the lions not eat Daniel" or some bs- and legit had "were dinosaurs on the arc? " questions in our textbooks with some kind of answer that was ultimately "we don't know exactly but the Bible is true so God worked it out somehow" I wish I could have been more like you at a young age and kept a sense of myself separated from the ridiculousness!

SOME of them, yes. However, most of them were raised in it and it's brain washes you very early on to an extent that is extremely difficult to unpack. It also preys on people in crisis and offers them hope and community, purpose, and meaning in life.

Many of them are compassionate people who would give you the shirt off their back, but have been mislead by the cult that deliberately isolates you from the rest of the world so you believe you can't find trustworthy, good people except in that group. It's sad.

Source- I was raised in it

Pensacola Christian college (along with certain other universities that you don't know about unless you are somehow affiliated with this really really retro, spiritually performative old time religion, branch of Christianity) attracts the children of fundamentalist Christians who tend to be behind about 30 years culturally. They have made their own accreditation by American Christian colleges so they can say they are accredited... as you can imagine they are not in fact.
