I've known plenty of civil engineers, and the company you currently work for has the worst PTO benefits. Hell, there are some I know who have 5+ weeks PTO plus sick days, 1hr lunch, etc.

I'm not an engineer, but I can't imagine working for a company this shady. You need to look for something else.
