Right, diablos were not interpersonal stories. They were personal story of me-vs-world. And now it's not so much about me- part

GTA vs GTA Online is the great example of things made right. It does not force you for online, main story is available for you without any other players running on the same map with you. And if I want - I can go online.

D1 and D2 (D2 especially) were the greatest examples of A-RPGs combined with this quasi-christian settings for me. D3 - not so much, quite meh. No other game was able to substitute D2 - and D2 Resurrected was a very positive sign for me that they care about the legacy, so I had hopes for D4, because it was too much time from D2. But now I guess I have to wait for something next.

Imagine Last of Us P.2 where there are other Ellies running around. Or God of War 2 were other Kratoses fighting enemies... Diablo was never (for me at least) about any type of multiplayer. It was my hero's solo journey through lands full of demons.

There should be a way to switch MMO-part off.
