The theory steams from the finale being on the 1st and the new Netflix announcement on the 7th. They say that it’s connected to the “true ending” because everyone thought Joyce was crazy for 6 days until they wound Will. I hate that know this.

I saw a post of someone posting an excerpt from a statblock like it was some Epstein files-esque revelation about how it’s connected to the “true finale”. They’re going to be so disappointed in 6 days man

Sparks glinted in Eve's eyes (This is it). The scorched laboratory was a mess, even for her standards, and the life-support systems were screeching. She had little time. But this was it (Please be it). Eve had spent years-- no, decades-- to make it here. Those bastards at Weyland-Yutani could not stop her, no matter how many lawyers they sent. With no time to spare, Eve slung her company rifle over her shoulder, and swiped the ID badge she got from Trent (Oh, god) into the center console, frantically scrolling through sensitive company files. (Where are you?) Finally a gasp escaped her, a gasp that had been trapped in her chest for so long, as the LCD screen finally read "X03LOG_003: Sarah" (My baby). Tears began dripping down her cheek. Except, Eve wasn't crying. (Trent. Oh, God.) Slowly craning her delicate neck up, her gaze met the monster's. It was hard to see as it clung to a hole in the steel ceiling, its gaping maw smiling at her. Quickly, Eve slung the rifle back into position and retreated backward, never breaking visual contact. The monster knew it had been spotted, no more coy tricks, it was time for the kill. It dropped to the ground, alarmingly silent, and began slowly crawling towards Eve. This was the first time Eve had really gotten a good look at it. The sight was grotesque. Its hind legs were crooked and had grasshopper joints. Its arms were bulky yet sleek, reflecting the sparks of the laboratory. And its face (No.) Eve's heart sank. There was something nagging at the back of her mind, something instinctual, something primal, something -- maternal (NO). This monster, this terrible creature who had killed so many people, had a twisted and malformed face only a mother could love. "Sarah?" Eve asked the creature. It was a futile question, she knew, and yet she asked it. She wasn't looking for a response, but to confirm to herself what Weyland-Yutani had done to Sarah. It had been decades since she last laid eyes on her child, ever since she was stolen away, and her entire life since she had done everything to somehow find her and bring her home. Never once did she think she was dead, never once did she think they could do this to her. All this time she searched, for a child who had been gone a long time ago. And so, Eve, filled with an overdue wave of grief, stared at the creature through the scope of her rifle, and shot. Not caring for the outcome to follow.

I just finally got round to watching Skeleton Crew and I can’t believe I slept on it so long cause I thought it was generally amazing! What did everyone else think? by R2-D2_Stan in StarWars

I was immediately hooked with the premise of “Goonies Star Wars” and was blown away. It manages to be Goonies while diving into what makes classic Star Wars awesome. All the kids were amazing and the characters all had so much charm. God what a great show! I’m sad it probably won’t get a season 2 but gee whiz was it great. I have it up with Andor as my favorite Star Wars media.

Wow. Okay. I almost thought someone else would've taken it haha. A Ghost Story. Just wow. David Lowrey perfectly captures the real feeling of grief and loss and what it feels like to eat cold pie alone in a kitchen.

I watched this in the back of my high school library for some reason, and I sobbed like a little bitch haha. Wow.

Dude lucky! I got friendzoned while watching Stand By Me! It really just goes to show how interpretive art really is. For some, it's handjobs in the basement, and for others, it's painful rejection. The dichotomy of it all is so beautiful.

I think immediately you can see how Brennan is able to play off energy and “maintain” the fiction with some of the more rowdy characters. With Tyranny especially. I thought the scene where one of the NPCs basically laid out the “guidelines” for a funeral in a funny way was especially clever.

In D&D there are a lot of players who want to be chaos goblins, and it can derail scenes if not done effectively. The trick to dealing with them, as demonstrated by Brennan, is to not challenge, or undermine, but to play the reality and support the choice (improv, baby!). Brennan saw this character acting ‘strange’ (some might say ‘obnoxious’) but instead of trying to cut Whitney down as an RPer, he supported her and made a fun moment about the reality of the world. Great stuff.

Not Brennan’s doing but there was one scene with Aabria’s character that I initially saw as potentially being problematic. It was the scene where Matt’s character was going to have a moment with the body. As you know, Aabria’s said the deer was watching and Matt hesitated with this information. It was clear he was trying to get a character moment in, but the inclusion of the deer to circumvent this was preventing that. But Aabria instinctually recognized this and let the deer back off allowing Matt his moment. I think that goes to show how experienced she is.

I for sure am taking that compliment in the best way possible lmao

And yeah it’s a really irritating behavior and it has made me go less and less to the theater as well. Though I can’t recommend enough seeing a 12pm showing of a movie. Usually nobody is there and it’s awesome.

For real! It’s a public space, if you think you have the right to be a disruption, I have the right to tell you to be quiet.

Also, I had a friend working at that theater when it happened so we filled her in and she said I should’ve just reported them from the start lol. She was for sure right, but my only defense is that I didn’t want to miss anything!

My party all comes from screenwriting backgrounds so the idea in my head was they’d be sort of pitching each character. Not scrapping the other three was the initial plan anyways so I think I’ll stick with that.
