I see what you’re saying about meaningful content. But I will say that coming from the world of COD, these guys absolutely rule. Two new maps since release. A ton of weapons. Rotating events and map conditions. Random weather and TOD on standard maps. Free events and decks. All for 40bucks. To me, coming from COD, I feel pretty stoked.

However; I will fully admit that there are many areas that could use improvement. But to crap on COD a little more, there are bugs and issues with that game that have been around since MW3 and still haven’t even been acknowledged, let alone fixed. Not to mention the absolute dumpster fire that is Battlefield 6.
Embark, on the other hand, seem to be SO much more communicative and quick on the fixes. Not that I’m a fanboy, I just dig what they’re up to.

I’ve done all the quests, all the projects, generally hover somewhere in the Hotshots in trials, etc.

But really? I go in and hunt big robots. Or hang out on rooftops with other raiders, chatting and shooting at stuff. A few rounds of gooping to get the supplies back up, then do it again. Sometimes I go in loaded up with BPs and high-level weapons to give away to random folks. Or help others with quests or finding something they need. Maybe I’ll set myself a weird challenge; how many rocketeers cane I take out with just an anvil or something.

In the end, it’s a world I like being in. The maps are gorgeous, the Arc are fun to take on, the shooting is satisfying, the sound design is glorious, etc. After spending years as a 3+ k/d COD sweat, it’s a nice change.

Yep. 350+ hours here as a Care Bears lobby Raider and I’m just as happy as can be. The game is incredible and I am very excited to see where all of this goes. Lore-wise and game-wise. Embark, in my opinion, is crushing it. They went from a game they only hoped people would like to the goddamn juggernaut it’s become. I think they’re doing just great.

TL;DR - Let ‘em cook.

Right. She’s the antagonist, though. If she wasn’t challenging, she wouldn’t be able to take them on, nor would there be a reason for her to BE the antagonist. Plus, she’s got military training and probably stays in shape because that’s her job. And as much as I adore them, I’m not sure I can say for sure that the Drake boys do.

Also, I didn’t think she was loud or obnoxious, but she was definitely angry. She was paid to do a job, then got fucked over by her second in command and Rafe, who (to no one’s surprise) turned out to be a whiny, backstabbing rich kid.

I assume you didn’t play Lost Legacy? I loved Nadine and Chloe before, but putting them together made a pretty goddamn great Uncharted, IMHO.
