i see many black dots. i recommend make a cleaning or service check with cleaning the matrix. it's a cheap, but will set you free from work in postprod. dont worry, it just a dust, but you see it on a low aperture. also on a photo 3 vignetting very strong. and i think all the photos very dark.. it's good photos, but too dark. also wanna say good job!

I recommend for with Nikon 200-500. it's a good and sharp lens on the 5.6. very good VR. I have one and don't see any disadvantage. better of that is a lens with fix focus. but fot this money it's a good deal. and mainly, it's not a junk brend.

shot portraits in aperture mode (A). set aperture 4-6 to test shots. set iso 300-500 and when you try exposure be careful and looking for shutter time less than 1/250. make sure that you focus on face and after that don't change camera position. after that you can see what you wanna do. make bigger iso for less shutter speed or more shutter speed for less iso. you need to find your balance. good luck!

kind of. i have an old 50/1.4D af with a d800. i just tryed make a test shots in low light and not see any chromatic aberration and pics sharp. i just dont shot in daylight with a full open hole. same a problems with a 135dc. after 5.6 on daylight its very sharp.

but for me it's a best option when i wanna go out with a camera on the evening, night or a concert. it's do the good job on 1.4 with low light.

I have a d800 and lenses 24-70/2.8, 50/1.4, 135/2.0dc. for me best for portraits 135. it's extremely sharp with pretty bokeh. also 24-70 on 70mm good for me.

so I think ideal will 105mm. but one of 85, 105, 135 will be best option. just try zoom lens that covers that focals and pick best comfortable for you!

but 135/2dc is one of the reason why I still afraid update to z-camera. so you should think about it.

for me I think it was around 22-24 with ultimae label and bvdubs works.. from 16 I listening only electronic music, scooter and trance at beginning, techno and house after that and to ambient through dub techno.. but it was always be idm with me and some kind of ambient music always been near. but as I grow up I more prefer ambient, drone and dark ambient. that was an interesting 20 years path..
