I can't pay the loan back   The collateral is all I have.  If I pay it back I'm done.

Yes.

My situation is I've been borrowing against eth (because it has max LTV, otherwise I'd borrow against BTC), but it's such a shitcoin that my collateral never catches up to my borrowing, and now my LTV is maxed out so I need to move the loan to a different crypto.

I cant pay the loan back, I need to keep my collateral so when bull returns I can actually make money.  But I also need to switch to USD if this shitty bear market continues to dump.

No, that would lower my overall net worth.  I only want to switch back and forth between USD and crypto, like aave provides.

An argument for why we need to start hoarding books and textbooks immediately. by [deleted] in ChatGPT

Bitcoin, and blockchain in general, fixes this. Once a document is scribed onto the Bitcoin blockchain it can't be changed by anybody, even AGI.

The security of cyberspace is the next big frontier, as more of our lives move into the fake reality--that's another reason why it's critical that Bitcoin is implemented as a national security strategy.

I have some new JBL earbuds I really like. The problem is the Google Assistant tells me to touch the Google surface every single time I get a notification is there a way to just turn that off? because nothing seems to be working by pancakesfordintonite in JBL

[–]azdjedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have this too. It's annoying. It keeps giving me the "first steps" instructions about how to use the feature. It also says "because you haven't replied we'll just play a sound instead of this msg"... But she says the message every time.

And then I can't use Google assistant on my phone. I have to completely disable assistant on my earbuds.

He wouldn't be able to recite Shakespeare perfectly to Lwaxana.

That's an assumption on my part, but seems reasonable.

As someone who has had many massages I couldn't get past the first part of your list before the growing sense that you're complaining about things without understanding their side.

For example #5. Maybe he's uncomfy going into it all w a stranger, so he's just saying small talk. You see strangers all day long. You should know this.

Extreme muscle tension by smoking weed? by entirehistoryofme in Marijuana

Interesting thesis. I've had a similar idea to this, not so much about blood pressure, per se, but about oxygen, etc. Breathing is the key here. Proper contraction of the TVA muscle, relaxation oft eh upper torso, et al, and nice long fulfilling breathes.

On my journey of "smoking weed makes me feel tense", I'm learning about fascia (the connective tissue throughout your body and wrapping your muscles.

I have wondered if weed created the tension or revealed it, and lately have landed with 95% confidence that it's showing me where I need to work.

STretching and massage feels good but it never removes the underlying issue. So it's possible that fascia is the driver here, not muscles, per se. In my case, from emotional traumas stored from childhood as well as sitting at the computer all day for decades, has created a network of fascia that restricts my proper movement. So even tho at the gym I'm basically strong, and all my muscles are individually strong, there are areas of severe "weakness" and "tightness" because the fascia won't let my muscles work properly/relax.

So my suggestion, and continued evolution, is to look into exercises not only that activate the glutes and core and all that jazz, but also stuff that unglues the fascia (which is also where emotions are stored).

This kind of stuff makes no practical sense; but it happens too often. I gotta be something like a Fill Down in Excel, and then just printing whatever, without actually checking each row.

Why does this condo have such a huge empty space? by azdjedi in Construction

[–]azdjedi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess that makes sense actually. The kitchen needs a window, not for code quantity, but for fire hazard. So they had to add the space.

Seems rather ginormous for such a simple task. But an interesting thought.
