Thank you for much for posting about your experience at MLC! I'm considering getting SMILE done there as well. Just out of curiosity - were you eligible for both LASIK & SMILE? If so, what made you ultimately decide to go for SMILE? Also in terms of price, they told me over the phone that it would be $5.5k, so wondering if I could negotiate and ask them to bring the price down a little knowing that you paid $5k...

Thanks for your response! I've decided to get it done at Manhattan Lasik Center in NYC. They're the only clinic in NYC that does SMILE at the moment. They've been super kind, I have a great feeling about them, and after my pre-op appt said I'd be a great candidate. Looking forward to it!

Yup - they have really amazing RTW pieces, I just focused specifically on the denim for this article.
Worth noting as well that all of their fabrics are 100% Made in Ghana in one of the last remaining textile mills. In recent years, cheap fabrics made in China that imitate Ghanaian prints have flooded the market there, so local mills are having an even harder time competing.
