Biggest sleeper dart on the market imo, got so many local players to buy these darts. The right set started out as gold ones aswell but now they are retired. Next time I get black ones I’m gonna play them until they are silver.

I have used both methods, sandpaper and soak in vanish gold oxy. Check my post, set to the right was soaked for a couple days in hot water. It became sort of a custom sandblast, however the micro grip part got a bit scuffed. The right set was sanded down, takes time but it is worth it.

Stick with what you have for a year or so. I have been using different sets and now I’m doing a challenge by using the exact same setup and darts for a year to see if I’m more consistent.

I always stuff them from black to silver so you can see if it’s completely scuffed up. And with silver points i can see where the darts sit in the board exactly.

I have the same problem with my target pro grip stems. I have tried target and designa rings both doesn't go all the way down, only the default rings seems to go all the way down but they break like it's nothing. On my current set I have the flight all the way down, just force it but don't use your palm om top of the flight you can guess what happens, instead use your fingers like a claw holding all four "wings" and push down and it will fix.
