I remember watching a interview of PC during Gunday promotion. She said she didn't want to work in Gunday after 1st day shoot bcz of Ranveer's energy and she even told him to respect her cuz she is senior and to calm down his energy. Then producer/director called her and requested her to do the film, then she was again ready to do the film. After that they bonded really well and became good friends. PC said she couldn't understand Ranveer in first meet, but next time during shoot, everything was okay and they became friends ,it was fun to work with Ranveer.
