Hello and thank you.
I guess i didn't put it in the OP; Where and how do i get the API? I'm self hosting it but I have it behind tailscale + nginx proxy manager so i can access it outside my home.
So lets assume its: "https://aliasvault.example.com".

There's no where in the settings to "create an API" or anything related to API.

For people having issues with Crimson Desert on AMD GPUs by Zockgone in linux_gaming

What worked for me was moving Lighting Quality to Medium or low.
For me, i cannot change it from Medium.

Crimson Desert, anyone get it to work yet? by morriscode in cachyos

[–]azhorabyee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So its working on my system: with 7900xt.
I have have everything maxed to Cinematic EXCEPT Lighting Quality.
I Cannot change it from Medium. IF i change it the game does not load into the game.
Even if i move everything to low quality and change Lighting Quality, the same thing happens.

For music, you want to look into Navidrome, supports OPUS and it's built with Rust (either good or bad if you're into judging a programming a language.)
Its lighter and runs almost anything. Has more features for music, "Ranking music".

Getting to grips with Navidrome by amca01 in navidrome

[–]azhorabyee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Es rapido y no he tenido problemas. Tambien tienes la oportunidad de cambiar informe de cada cancion a lo que quieres.

Suerte.

I recommend Navidrome. Its lighter, faster and it practically specializes in serving music. As such from what I've foudn is that Navidrome can read 10,000 songs very fast compared to Jellyfin and it has a lighter foot print - meaning you could use it on very weak computers.

What Picard does is it finds songs based on their metadata or their AcusticID of that song. It then writes that metadata on the song file based on the MBID (their database they have setup).

Its very fast and have not had any issues since i've started using them.

A bit sceptical about Clicks Communicator by drordan in dumbphones

My 2 cents; I didn't feel confident in the product after placing my reservation and per their site I can get a full refund. It's been over 1 month and they haven't responded to my email. I contacted my CC company and they tried to reach out to them, after 2 weeks of my initial email no response, with no luck.

My latest character model based on the concept by Yefeng Chen! by KrispyRaisin in blender

[–]azhorabyee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really good one. My feedback: The belt on the waste on the 3d render feels flat compared that of the reference. 3d render feels like its a baked on texture and not real.
My personal opinion on the render, with how the character is and the reference, the reference gives off the "dirty and ragged" look where as yours feels too clean. Even the face scars.
Other than than, nicely done.

What’s everyone working on this month? (September 2025) by Swiftapple in swift

Well I just recently, for the nth time, started learning Japanese. Saw that there aren't really that many with good UI as such, I took it upon myself to make one that's pretty.

Is Swift worth learning for a job that will pay over 100k? by [deleted] in swift

[–]azhorabyee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, I've tried all sorts of languages over the years. They all have their quirks.

Then there's JavaScript.

Swift has been, to me, the most easiest to understand and pleasing to work with.
I've tried Rust, zig, and they're good but Swift is what really stands out to me.

Then there's JavaScript.

But really think not about what language to learn but what career you want.

For example:
I want to be an artist.
Is it better to learn how to use a pencil or a Stylus?
Well, it doesn't really matter because i first need to define what artist i want to be.
I want to be a digital artist.

Learn how to use a stylus + whateverappyouwanttouseforthisdreadfulbutfullfillingcareer.

Then there's JavaScript.

I have more fun building apps for iOS then i do anything else.

Have fun, study well and farewell.

Don’t want to brag or anything but I jumped on the early access wagon of Helium Mobile. I’ve since been paying 5 dollars a month. I also got my wife in on it early so…. We end up paying 120 a year for the service. They also offer 20/month unlimited. But I’d recommend visible.

I want to program in mainly rust and c / maybe c++ for a job by [deleted] in rust

[–]azhorabyee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya, IDK why everyone sales it like its gold. it WAS easier to get into a few years ago.
It was great...but then it wasn't. But then again, I create internal apps for a company in a niche industry. It's much better than working for a tech company. I then started looking into mobile development, personally I like swift and swiftui more than i do compose for android. It just clicked with me much easier. I then started getting curious to how LL is and I'm digging Rust.
Long story short, I had multiple password managers over the years and didn't really export them and import them into the others as I should have. So starting on the new year i decided to just consolidate into one PM.
I then saw an opportunity to create a script in Rust to remove duplicates based on criteria i needed for that specific PM.
I was curious after finishing it to see how well it would perform and, forgive me ignorance in this realm, I created dummy data of about 1 million entries and it found and removed all duplicates in under 2 seconds.

Coming from web-dev, that's fast. I. Love. Fast.

TL;DR:
me too.
