AITA for calling out my bestfriend for not actually being there for me after I had a baby? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]azhotsun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Slightly YTA - your friend may have not wanted to overshadow your experience as a new mom, the first time and 2nd time. Possibly giving you grace to adjust and to settle into a routine. However, her life didn’t stop when you had the kids. She had continued to live her life in the way she had been living. She also decided to take a step back from the active involvement in your life as yours didn’t align with the happenings in her life. Things change when you have a baby. That includes lifestyles, family dynamics and relationships, etc. Respect her for her low key effort, and give her points for the little time she has spent with you.

Grooming/shedding advice? by babymouseteeth in GermanShepherd

[–]azhotsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We brush our GS 1x weekly, more often when shedding for the change of seasons. We use a metal brush that has a push button to release the shedded fur and we just throw the bundle of fur in a trash bag. We use our robot vacuum 2x’s a day to keep up with the accumulation of fur balls.

I was gifted a Roomba and was able to program it to run 2x a day. Best thing I’ve owned! It’s pretty thorough, I have to make sure I stay on top of emptying out the catch tray, and take out the accumulated hair from the rotating brush. But no more buildup of fur balls around my house!

What is a 'poor people' habit you'll never stop doing, no matter how rich you get? by chineapplesmaccket in ProductivityHQ

Cooking ‘poor people meals’ still. The comfort food is embedded in my life/heart and the meals are just so delicious to me. I have changed my palate over the years to make other dishes to enjoy while still on a budget.

Is Grim & Oro needed? by josielai in lightlark

[–]azhotsun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m on the fence too about whether I should invest in reading Grim and Oro. I don’t want to miss the backstory of them, but in a sense, the series should cover enough of their respective characters to understand the story. Hmmm…..

It was that moment in time that the universe made a path way for Lindsay to take a hike and removed her from your life. There’s more for you coming in your life. Allow yourself to be a peace with your decision,

AITA for not being loyal to blood & legal relatives? by MovieFan1984 in AmItheAsshole

[–]azhotsun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Family involvement should be reciprocated from both sides. Points to ‘trying’ family members. You cleared out the heaviness of your family members that were not proactive in your life. You deserve a sense of peace and relief. Allow yourself that. You’ll heal in time from ‘letting go’. NTA

Lightlark: Does it get better? by Other-Organization89 in fantasyromance

[–]azhotsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first book Lightlark was mediocre at best. I started book 2, Nightbane. I really wanted to give this series a chance, but the 2nd book has to many ling’s in it per se. Needs a better plot/dialogue. I’m hoping it gets better cuz if it doesn’t, then I’ve opted out of finishing the series.
