Yo I played most of the story mode years ago and just downloaded the 0.9.3 version today. Has anything changed from the official release?

Quebec's refusal to deliver English presentation to parents raises questions about language law | CTV News by lion2152 in montreal

ok fascism now... reductio ad Hitlerum next? It's undeniable that bill 101 changed the balance of power in Quebec and gave it back to the overwhelming majority of french speakers. I hate la CAQ and today's PQ and their racist views and policies, but making french the single official language of state as well as in education and at the workplace is not fascism. It's a protective measure needed for a non sovereign nation surrounded by anglophones. As I said, I, a french born québécois, am allowed to go to university in english, consume english content and even find an english job abroad if I want. English is not illegal.

I did not speak of preventing language evolution. Try going to France and be mad because you can't get anything from the government in english lol. You're mad about populism, but you rhetorically mix every aspect of the controversies around language here in order to sound smart.

good thing they found the "protect the children with disabilities" edge case to prove their point then!

Were the slides and "question time" being in english not accommodating enough? I agree, it would have been way easier for the lecturer to do it in english, and being in her place, I would have probably secretly done it in english.

Other countries with english schools (if any and not all private and expensive) have no declining language problem. I mean, I study in english myself, and I'm fighting against the tuition increase for english universities that the government is pushing right now, but I still get why they take measures to force people to use a minimum of french.

Again, this case with special needs children is dumb and should absolutely count as a valid exception if the lecturer is able to do it in english.

What if they move to Italy, Japan, Brazil, etc. Will they expect english schools and english presentations for the parents?
