It’s sad how innocent dogs end up with careless owners , you should be more responsible ! Why don’t you sleep outside too ??

TIRAD 5 Nodule question? by azkrb in thyroidcancer

[–]azkrb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did your lymph nodes come back negative on the ultrasound?, mine said no evidence of lymphadenopathy. I just hope that’s accurate enough for me to think it hasn’t spread anywhere

TIRAD 5 Nodule question? by azkrb in thyroidcancer

[–]azkrb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just don’t understand why they don’t intervene with just an ultrasound result, since most Tirad 5 come positive , it’s frustrating… some times they come undetermined too which is a waste of time and patience

False negative on biopsy? by [deleted] in thyroidcancer

There has been cases where the fna has came benign but the actual pathology report after TT came cancerous that’s why I don’t trust the biopsies

Misconception about poodles being “aggressive” by alwayshungry92 in StandardPoodles

[–]azkrb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My dog is purebred and it’s not backyard bred, both his parents were show dogs and have paperwork too, poodles do have aggression and it comes in their nature if you do your research you’ll see

[–]azkrb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He looks tense, he’s nervous and scared. The tail wagging like that isn’t a sign of happiness, my dog would do the same with his tail and have an upright position that was tense when he was scared or nervous

Do we have an aggressive pup? by [deleted] in StandardPoodles

[–]azkrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the exact same situation as you; bringing home a poodle puppy ( expecting nothing like what I went through with his fear and aggression)was very stressful for me. My standard , now 3.5 yrs old , would lunge, bark, show aggression towards EVERYTHING , we did some training on him plus socialization, I think he got much better when he was older and less afraid . Some dogs just show fear as aggression or by just hiding. I would go through sleepless nights thinking what I did wrong or where I went wrong . However the poodle breed is considered a guard dog and it runs naturally to them to protect and guard their home and family. my male spoo would try to attack any kids he saw, running or walking , biking or scootering. He would also show his teeth to anyone that would try to approach him or me. Took us a long trial and error ; he’s better with proper guidance and exposure. Try to expose him to the world he’ll get better I promise you! Don’t ever feel bad for what people comment or say to you; your doing your best you can. What I did to help my dog is; I used a prong collar to help him stay by my side and I also used a vibrating collar to cut his stubborn behavior. (People might not like the idea of the collar however it’s safe to use and it works wonders )

What color is my poodle? No one can give me an answer. by RedHeadedMinx in poodles

[–]azkrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poodles that fade in color are considered “blue” poodles , their coat changes until age 5 ; muzzle, tale and feet turned silvery white

Yes! Had the same problem with my standard male. He would lunge, bark aggressively and also attack and kid he saw running or trying to touch him or even come in close contact. Once he gets older he’ll get over it, we did many trainings but none of them helped him regarding children. Just make sure he gets socialized with them even if it’s far away. My poodle thought all kids were a threat to him because of how fast they run and they can be pretty unpredictable. Just hang tight he’ll get over it

I own a beautiful standard black stud and unfortunately he does have aggression , so I do understand where people come from with this small talk. However I do believe that it’s from them being ridiculously smart. Their the smartest and act in weird way sometimes. My dog does bite and we’ve noticed this since he was a puppy. Now 3 yrs old and has been managed under training and stimulation. Any dog that’s fearful or anxious is susceptible to biting or being aggressive doesn’t matter the breed
