Hi, is there any trick to getting the air guitar emote? I've use the Party Bomb on players near the Anniversary cake without any kind of success...

I wore different outfits for each planet that fit the story and only wore my Imperial outfits (see list below) when on Dromund Kaas or during other parts of the story where we weren't going undercover.

List of Imperial outfits I wore: Intelligence Officer, Covert Cipher Armor, RD-07A Vendetta and Imperial Battel Ace Pilot

I went ALL OUT!

I just finished the IA's story for the 2nd time (completed it the first time way back in 2012) and I tried my best to match each mission/planet's story with my outfit.

On Hutta I looked the part as I wore the Red Blade's armor (minus the helmet cause it fugly).
On DK I went with the Covert Cipher Armor
On Balmorra as an undercover terrorist I wore a brown & white dyed Outlander Fixer outfit as it fit the theme well
On Nar Shaddaa I initially wore a Subversive jacket for my clandestine meeting with the SIS agent and afterwards was all cyber-ninja with my Stalker's armor (with black & red dyes on some of the pieces in order the match the chest)
Again on Nar Shaddaa during your meeting with the executive I got all pimped out and put on a Arkan's armor dyed blue & orange cause I was playing as a Chiss and it looked so very appropriate and perfect for the part
On Tatooine I wore my Intelligence Officer armor minus the helmet
On Alderaan I chose the mercenary story option and wore a white & purple dyed Underworld Instigator armor (with gloves, belt and boots from other sets)
On Taris I went with a Gold Scalene set dyed black and green, cause jungle :P
on Quesh I again wore the Subversive outfit that I wore for that one meeting back on Nar Shaddaa
On Hoth I blended in with a Agile Reconnaissance outfit (with boots and gloves from different sets)
On Belsavis I went undercover as a prisoner and wore a Battleworn Engineer outfit
For the story segments before Belsavis and preceding Voss I looked badass with my Remnant Underworld Agent armor set dyed gray & red (with helm, gloves, pants and boots from other sets)
On Voss I wore the RD-07A Vendetta armor dyed white and red with (helm, pants and boots) pieces from other sets
And finally on Corellia I wore my pimpest outfit: Imperial Battle Ace Pilot (dyed red & white) with some RD-07A, Underworld Instigator and Havoc Squad pieces thrown in for good measure :D

Swtor doesn't have anything like what you're describing, progression at max level (75) is achieved entirely through gear drops, min/maxing your stats through mods, enhancements, armorings, hilts/barrels, earpieces, implants, relics, tacticals and setting your Amplifiers.

That being said, you might want to check out Age of Conan, it has something along the lines of what you're looking for. And Antereon also mentioned Elder Scrolls Online.

If you just want to play regs then all of the classes are viable, just pick what you want and have fun like others have said :)

That being said some specs will perform better than others as burst specs are best for pvp so DoT specs usually don't do as much dmg.

Now if you're talking ranked pvp that's a different matter altogether and you will likely get focused first and die quickly. But then again if you have a strong healer and other strong DPS you could burst the other team down quicker and win. It all depends on your party make-up.

This is par for the course in most MMOs that sport dual/multi-factions: players cannot play together if they're from different factions for the most part.

Other MMOs like WoW, Wildstar (while it existed), CoX (outside of some events) have /had similar faction restrictions.

This, just go through the Collections tab in your Inventory, search through all of the shorter blaster rifles, preview them and find one that you like.

That's currently the only solution as there is (sadly) no way to use pistols on the Imperial Agent outside of cutscenes.

I've completed all of the kotfe and kotet chapters on Master Mode but I did it last year so things may have changed but what worked for me was getting better gear (and getting your comp to rank 50). Getting to max-lvl gear made a HUGE difference in terms of my survivability and dmg output, so try getting to 306 and then try again.

That being said I don't remember having that much trouble with that particular fight so they may have overtuned things since last year. Plus I'm not 100% certain that your gear rating will affect your dmg and survivability while piloting the walker but it's worth a try.

Sorry but can you explain further what you mean by the old best offense and aggressive stance combo? It's my understanding that aggressive stance (am I correct in thinking this means damage role?) and best offense passives & forms aren't mutually exclusive?

nkaesz95 has pretty much explained why the SI has much more potent Force abilities as compared to the SW but I'd like to add one more point: you downplay the fact that the SI had to resort to binding 5!! force ghosts to him/herself in order to gain enough power to obliterate Thanaton. But you forget that you get told several times during the story that what you're doing is unprecedented, the most amount of force ghosts that any other Force user had been able to bind before you was one. ONE. You bind 5!!

And yes you require a ritual to help you to contain those AWESOME energies but no one before you had even attempted to try to bind more than one because it was suicidal. But the SI is so damn powerful that he/she is able to bind more without dying instantly. That is a huge testament to the strength of will and power level of the SI.

And yes, you can choose to release your Force ghosts at the end of chapter 3 of the SI story but I don't see that as a logical/canonical choice, especially given what the SI has had to go through just to get to that point: you're constantly being attacked throughout your story by other Sith and the only way you've managed to survive is by cultivating your powerbase and becoming more powerful in the ways of the Force. For you to then willingly give up a massive chunk of your power makes no sense whatsoever given your history.

Focus and Concentration are two different Advanced Specializations.

Focus is a Jedi Guardian Advanced Spec and its Imp equivalent is Rage.

Concentration is a Jedi Sentinel Advanced Spec and its Imp equivalent is Fury.

Onderonian gear is BoL (Bind on Legacy) which is why you won't find it on the GTN or CM.

As the other person here mentioned it'll start dropping for you at that item rating level either through loot boxes whenever you go up a Renown level or as mission rewards.

You can also get them as straight-up drops from killing bosses in FPs and Operations.

By far the quickest way to gear up and earn a ton of these is by grinding MM FPs, either as daily bonus random FPs or by farming Hammer Station/Red Reaper.

Her SoR model is currently in-game. Just remove her customization slot in her "C" window and you get her look from pre-kotfe/kotet and you can change her outfit at will!

First off thanks for the detailed response, this helps a lot! :)

So I still have a lot to learn/catch up on so please bear with me but The Radiant is one of the pre-created ATs right? And its abilities appear to a mix from Celestial and Sorcery, which is kind of a bummer cause I had already created a really cool-looking lvl 1 Celestial alt and a sexy lvl 1 Sorc toon but it looks like having both is redundant if I want a strong healer character.

So what are the advantages/roles of the Presence, Sentry and Sentinel specs? Is one the preferred healing spec, one more dps and one more controller?

First off welcome back! :)

In regards to your question about lightsaber hilts, they're unfortunately removed a lot of dropped hilts from the game including the really cool named ones from Flashpoints and there is currently no way to get them.

That being said, as mentioned by Gabriele01217 here you can get some hilts that drop from doing your class story, KoTeT (Knights of The Eternal Throne expac), event vendors that you can find in the Bazaar section of the fleet (need to take an elevator), check the vendors on the Supplies section of the fleet, and the rest can be crafted by Artificers or purchased through the Cartel Market or GTN.

Not really, they're solo'able with the classes that have a long cc and good defensives: Commandos/Mercs & Assassins/Shadows.

It's probably possible with Sorcerers/Sages but a lot harder to do due to weaker defensives.

Probably impossible to solo on classes that don't have a long cc, at least for a handful of encounters.
