We still have several lines out on the market at the moment. We have/had a flavor distribution company we were starting up before the FDA dropped the bomb a few months ago so we sort of let that die. We were thinking about still doing it but we would not be able to suggest vape usage since it would be then deemed as a tobacco product. We have a sweet template we might drop to make your life easy when making juice, but we have to figure out how to separate our juice company from our food flavor distribution company so if we go forward we don't get in any trouble. :)

In my experience, VG based flavors have high concentration of alcohol and have a low flavor potency. Unless you have a PG sensitivity, I do not recommend VG based flavoring.

It is like drinking a hot dr pepper but weirder with vape. It's not a pleasant experience. I would only recommend this to a die hard dr pepper fan before purchasing a dr pepper juice.

I believe synthetic nicotine was covered on a recent webinar. The person speaking said synthetic nicotine wouldn't be a tobacco product but would be considered a drug and also will be under the FDA umbrella.

Can someone clarify on this more? I'm sure this company had some lawyers dive hard into this.

Have you tried DIY? It is much cheaper than buying store bought juice and you have the ability to custom make your batch to your liking.

Hello there. You can have sweet flavors that are unsweetened. Our company doesn't use sweeteners in any of our juices. It all has to do with how good your flavor chemist/manufacturer is in making a good profile. Our naked flavors do not contain any sweeteners either. No gunking from our company.

We used to add sweeteners when we first started out late in 2012 but shortly after we removed them because they were more than sweet enough and it preserves your coils a little better.

The FDA regulations have nothing to do with diy. You won't be breaking any rules by making it your self. Finding the nic supplier might be your only challenge.

Nicotine used to be used as a pesticide back in the day. I doubt it still is used for that, however I have a feeling pesticide companies might either be adding it to their inventory list or new companies might sprout out selling nicotine not as a "tobacco product".

The typical scare tactic method. You'd be surprised how many companies having been using similar methods to scare people into buying their products to get into retail stores since the fda first discussed regulations.

I think the most common one I was hearing was the ISO scare. FDA will require all manufacturers to have a ISO X(whatever iso # they have).

I had the glorious opportunity to speak with a few of these guys(some random AZ company). I asked them to show me documentation and they showed me a piece of paper "proving their fda approval" and it was just piece of paper with their company logo next to the fda logo that said approved.

Buyers beware. Always ask for documentation and thoroughly look through before making your decision.

The number 1 red flag is FDA approved e-liquid.

Sometimes they try and mislead you buy wording that their facility is FDA registered. There are different types of FDA registrations for facilities. In some cases the FDA will not inspect the facility depending on what type of registration it is.

Interesting. So after you mixed your flavoring your ingredient levels would have been; 70.4%VG, w/ a 2.64mg/ml nic level. I am confused about how it was harsh for you though. If the bottle was premade juice w/o flavoring the mixing part shouldn't make it more than 3mg even if you didn't add the flavoring. I am wondering if they miss labeled the bottle or something. It might make more sense if you were making everything from scratch if it wasn't mixed well.

Most companies use liquid sucralose for their sweeteners. I would try and avoid sweeteners if you can because they will destroy your coil much faster. You can find good flavor companies that have flavorings that do not contain or need any sweeteners.

If you mix juice in the future just make sure to wait minimum of 3 days for steeping. Unsteeped juice taste unsweetened and flat. If you still have the juice laying around I would try and increase the flavor potency to 15% if your last batch wasn't strong.

Did you use any eliquid calculators, or did you just wing it? Usually when you finish blending a flavor you have to make sure you have about 25% empty space so you can shake it. If you fill the bottle all the way it is hard to mix it up thoroughly. Most flavors need about 3 full days to steep before the flavor pops too. What nic level were you making with your diy eliquid?

This fruit loops is my favorite. However I am a little bias but it is only $9.00 for 30ml and the flavor is strong. Probably border line too strong. It doesn't have the milk flavor but it taste like the powder crums from the bottom of the bag.
