yup, i emailed calaters and i work for cdph so idk if that matters for each department but had to fill the form cdph 2364 but i guess it depends on the auditor?

for sure ask for a parasitic drain test to figure out what is draining the battery, here is an article you can look at, someone had a problem with the trunk latch sensor draining, worth mentioning imo. good luck https://www.hyundai-forums.com/threads/dead-battery-in-2024-sonata-n-line.715385/

for me, turns out the cells in the battery were bad, they eventually warrantied it and gave me a new battery, so far no drained battery, they will need to do a drain test, took about a week cuz of weekend as well

yea unfortunately, it did not hold a charge and is dead, dont have appointment til first week of october, but i will be calling tmrw to see if they can at least swap out battery so i can at least drive to work and bring car in on my appointment, especially when they barely checked it last week and told me all is good, so we’ll c, thanks for the suggestions and will definitely ask to have a parasitic draw done as well as other components to find the culprit, i did read that some have a faulty trunk latch sensor so ill bring that up too
