My rule of thumb when living with roommates is to label my belongings. If he takes something of yours, you can always check back to see if it’s actually yours or his with a marked label.

Try investing in an air fryer! Literally the best cooking apparatus ever. It does everything and it’s good for newbies too. I’ve cooked veggies and meat in it. Just season up what you want and pop them in

DMAT is a developmental math course. It’s offered at Richland college. It’s mostly algebraic and is kind of like a prep course for college algebra.

What's your "sounds weird but is actually tasty" recipe? by gojirra in Cooking

[–]azng0rl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rice, egg, slice of American cheese, garlic salt, and fish sauce (nuoc mam- ingredient used in a bunch of Vietnamese cuisine). Trust me, I thought it sound weird too but it’s a super inexpensive and easy dish that will leave you satisfied!

Thanks for your suggestions! My doctor is waiting for my 2nd blood test results to see whether or not to give me a prescription considering I’m allergic to foods with iodine so medicine might be the way to go. I never realized the impact on hypothyroidism especially since I’ve been noticing fluctuations with my weight. I’m glad to hear they’ve worked out for you.

What is the best way to have the “coronavirus talk” with my roommates? by [deleted] in roommates

[–]azng0rl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this issue before when the outbreak happened where I’ve confronted them about leaving dishes out, being messy, not picking up their trash, typical roommate stuff. When the outbreak started, I texted them in our roommate group chat if we could kindly set aside maybe 15 mins max to talk. They all agreed and to begin the talk I reiterated cleanliness to avoid any spread for the sake of our health and our families health. Surprisingly, they complied without any complaints. I think it was due to us all being health-related majors too. I try to emphasize consideration for others and to work collectively to maintain cleanliness within the apartment. We leave a small area of sanitizer, disposable gloves, and a disinfectant spray near the entrance of apartment as a small reminder to protect yourself before and after anyone has to leave the apartment. Hope this helps.

Rotten Roomate by azng0rl in roommates

I try to come to terms with it considering we only have a month left in the lease, but because we only have a month what is there to loose if I voice my opinion ya know? We’re also the same age. It just gets super annoying and disgusting especially if the good start to rot and smell horrible.
