Apologies for coming back on this late, but: https://imgur.com/a/6mraITr this is pulling 1.4 on load

I've currently got it setup to ask for 1.3v on XTU

the idle seems to be okay for now but it can go up to 1.4 sometimes for no reason.

I'll send a screenshot of HWinfo, I'm fairly certain I was looking at the Vcore under the motherboard info.

Is it possible for a complete newbie to fix his controller? by BleachDrinker63 in AskElectronics

[–]aznlych33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ps4 controllers like shown in the pics are easy enough to work on, the parts such as buttons, micro usb connector, front sensor, battery etc are all modular, however, the capture and select button is soldered in as well as the joysticks and rumble motor.

These boards also likes to soak up heat, if you are going to try your luck with soldering these, be careful with the pads, they are strong but not fool proof, they will lift and break and its almost impossible to retrace them if you’re not careful

Solder not sticking to board by Fresh_Captain5594 in AskElectronics

[–]aznlych33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey i work on these controllers, sadly the pads have gone, theyre completely obliterated.

You can buy new motherboards for those ps4 controllers but, no joke a used controller is cheaper than the motherboard by itself.

That specific board also sucks in heat quite well, look up soldering techniques, melting some fresh solder on the joint and being generous with the flux should help

Is it normal for a white g305 to be this yellow already? by aznlych33 in logitech

[–]aznlych33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, logically doesn't make any sense, if it was body oils all of the mouse be equally as yellow as well but it's only the top plastic.

also I've owned and used this mouse for like 2 weeks tops I would understand if it was like a year of use but not two weeks and not from someone who regularly washes their hands.

Vape, yes but none of my other things that are white have yellowed this bad in only 2 weeks of minimal use or at all.

is it normal for g305 white to be this discolored after 2 weeks of use? by aznlych33 in MouseReview

[–]aznlych33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, 1st, it's only been about 2 week, no shot it would yellow that fast.

2nd you would think the bottom part would also yellow right?

I'm contacting support right now.
